It's bizarre that there's no coverage of the first 2 days. Wheeler hammered them yesterday with over 90lbs, and Connel is way out in front today at 72lbs with 1.5 hours to go.

I see Boyd caught two fish for 4# and 39th place on day one. That's a solid day for him. Y'all suppose he'll give himself the boot at the end of the year, or give himself a "legend in his own mind" exemption?

Randy would complain if Santa Claus came every day. It's like he can't help himself.

Glad to see it’s back on live. I don’t mind the 2 first days of qualifying not being broadcasted to keep both groups honest from peaking in on spots and baits. Let’s see if the 4th qualifying day shows a major jump for someone who may have slumped on day 2.

I think Chris Zaldain has a podcast out on youtube with the former polygraph guy from MLF, supposedly sharing all the info about it. It will be interesting to see if there is any shady stuff going on.

Yeah this just came out a few days ago. Will give it a listen for sure on the way into work this week. 

Anybody notice that there are 2 less commentators, Rob Newell and Marty Stone. Wonder if they got the axe or will they be on later. I say they got booted just like a bunch of anglers next year get. I don't care for FFS one way or they other but to me it is sure boring to watch. Could Randy B be right!!!

Marty got the hook for sure. Don't know about Rob.

For those that hate the northern dropshot tourneys - you are in for a long season. FFS isn't much more fun except for the shaking of the rod thing.

Not interested in watching them stare at their screens all day. 

I didn't even look to see when the tourneys were being held this year.

They’re broadcasting Justin Connell’s FFS screen which is exactly what modern tournament fishing needs if it’s gonna be a spectator sport.  

Still not interested in watching them throw crappie jigs on Toledo bend, even if they show the screen. Just my opinion.

Marty Stone is still an investor in the organization overall. Both him and Rob from my understanding were cut for budget savings. 

 

I think they are trimming a lot of fat here this year, as the expenses will be going up in 2025 with the new earnings format.
