The past 10 years have been terrible 

That play pretty much encapsulates the Giants experience, at least we might have a quarterback.

@islandbass You're not wrong.  The NFC West teams seem to have 3, sometimes all 4 teams beat the snot out of non-conference teams; and it's a dogfight with in-conference games.  It's just a very strong conference.

 

It was just last year they finished 10-7 and STILL didn't make the playoffs because of SF and the Rams.  The Hawks had the best record of all the teams that didn't make the playoffs.

 

Fun fact: An NFC West team has been in the Superbowl in at least 10 of the past 15 years.  THAT'S how strong the NFC West is.

And the niners just break America’s hearts by losing the Super Bowls….. and the rams only scoring 3 pts vs the patriots….. and Pete Carroll calling a pass against the pats on the goal line……..

of those 10 appearances I feel like I was rooting for NFC west team in 8 of them and they lost all 8 times

Then I woke Up.

Ironically, last week I clamored to see some of these other teams having breakout seasons on national TV time slots instead of the same old Chiefs and Cowboys.

 

The NFL just announced that the Chiefs-Cowboys game on Thanksgiving was the highest viewed regular season game in league history, ever.

As a pats fan its been a brutal 4 years, I'm so thankful they're back on top of the nfl. 

d**n…… it’s a good time for a bye week to recharge the batteries, reflect where the team is after all the early injuries decimated the defense and prepare for the final drive towards the playoffs. Just a couple of observations regarding some recent posts, the NFC West is the most competitive/dominant division in the NFL.  With Seattle, LA, and the Niners all locked in what seems like a yearly arms race which admittedly only makes the division better. We as fans and the league as a whole benefit from it.
 

I have to admit it was disappointing when the Niners did loose the last three Super Bowls they played. However without getting into specifics, ya gotta get to the Super Bowl to in order to loose the Super Bowl. I’ve also been seeing 2026 NFL draft projections even though it seem a bit early for that. Any ideas which team is streaking towards the #1 pick and will they take a QB or a defensive lineman?

Now before anyone dogs the Seahawks.... It looks like they're on track for another 10-7 year and missing the playoffs because the NFC West is so strong.  I was expecting an 8-8 year, but they've already won 9, so everything is gravy at this point.  I'm not disappointed.

Looks like a fun time in Buffalo.
