After setting up a Plano 3500 and 3600, I still had a 3700 to fill up. I decided to make it a hodgepodge of what I normally fish with to keep in my car for unexpected fishing trips (which happen very often for me). I loaded a lot of jigheads and worms (of course), flukes, a few paddle tails, some Texas rig stuff, jointed suspended shad raps for trolling behind canoe/kayak, marabou jigs, regular jigs, a swim jig, popper, redeye shad, a bomber model A, and a Johnson silver minnow . I’m now ready to hit up all kinds of spots on my way home from work!

Great idea. I need to make up an emergency box for the car. I once forgot my fishing bag and ended up having to bum some lures from my buddy for the trip.

I clicked expecting some new HiSeas bag of some sort. 😡 (fake)

I have a small Plano tackle bag that holds three boxes. It, like yours is for when I discover a promising pond. That bag goes with me when I'm in the boat, too.

BTW, your box is missing a Mepps spinner. Just saying.

Is a 4 inch worm on 1/16 oz jighead not a finesse rig? There’s some 3/32 oz marabou jigs too

I might let you pass on that....but I was thinking Drop-Shot or Ned primarily.

I have a medium light two piece spinning rod in the trunk of my car.

And my "travel" tackle bag in there as well. Like you, it has all the lures I normally fish with...including a few spinner-baits @gim.

Never leave home without it,,,,,,all.

If you ever come to Mexico to bass fish, you can leave that box at home.

Whats your travel rod that you keep with you, I assume a spinning outfit of some sort?

I rarely have only one , usually 1-2 spinning and 1-2 baitcasting

but yeah spinning combo with a jighead is what I use way more than anything. I’m like a much less successful Charlie Brewer

If the dividers stay down well enough to hold hooks I’m going to want some of those boxes.
