There have been two Classics in recent years when the morning temps were in the teens, and it didn't get much warmer than that through the day.

They're saying they've never fished it that cold? Must be the ones that didn't fish those Classics. Otherwise they should have their memories tested. LOL

Sounds like a weatherman , every single year is the hottest coldest driest wettest of all time

Im just happy to have something to do at work again!

  • I figured since they were pulling them up on traps, I’d go try the same. Just stayed local to HSV instead of going to Guntersville. Anyway, I’m not a pro. I lost both traps I took with me in the same

  • John Cox weighed in 2 fish, one just barely a keeper and the other was short. With the penalty, that's how he ended up -1lb.

Easy for you to say. You fish in the snow...all the time. Here's you stating your opinion of the rest of us:

a hulk is hugging a man in a blue hat .

My point is that you don't feel weather, Russ. It literally could be the coldest, hottest, or wettest, but you wouldn't know.

I think they may be referencing the water temps. It was only 37-38 when they started practicing... That's cold for those poor southern boys. Lol

You dang skippy… if it’s below 40 here in N Alabama, I probably just stay inside and watch YouTube and shop on TW. Oh, wait…I do that in other temp ranges as well…

What I know is 3 of my fantasy picks are fishing Super Sunday..btw, I’m also picking Seattle 😝

Scrolling the standings top to bottom here at the end of day 3 certainly tells a different story when compared to the past couple years.

Final day at Guntersville followed by the Super Bowl is going to make for an nice Sunday here in the temporary frozen tundra of MD.

Trey McKinney snuck himself into the top 10, he lurks near the top no matter the venue or the rules. Even Fujita got a 7 lber without his FFS. Hank Cherry is dangerous on the big G……. Hartman is fishing a typical winter pattern, birds diving an a fluke style bait getting tons of hits. Wes Logan is getting less fish but good size.

Man this is fun!!! Glad it’s back 😂

Have they always had the primary broadcast simulcast to their YouTube for Day 4?

This is great, so much easier/better quality than dealing with my TV’s web browser.

I guess it’s on FS1 too but I almost never pull up live TV anymore.

Is it an Ugly Stick or just cheap Shakespeare?

Greg Hackney in the house.

I love listening to this guy.

He's sort of morphed into a bit of a Cajun Zen Master.

It's a 20 dollar Shakespeare Excursion. This is the same rod I use for crappie fishing. It's actually a pretty decent rod for 20 bucks. I don't know about winning 100 thousand bucks good but evidently On'em believes it is.

Watched off and on for a bit this morning. Has Blaylock moved more than 20 feet all day? Looks like he parked in same spot every time I see him.

Immense 'local pressure' is going to keep Hartman from winning this thing. 🤣

I with Dave on this. I wanna know if there was "Interaction" between him and the local?

Hartman said that guy was adamant about staying on that (his) spot 😂😂😂 Jamie not happy.. I understand both sides of this issue. If I’m just fun fishing in my rig, I’m giving way, if I’m in a guide boat I’m staying lol

  • Super User

Yeah. Shame they put these guys a such a tiny pond in good weather with a thousand locals

With as many big fish as he’s pulled out of there every day I wouldn’t move either.

Has anyone looked at Guntersville on the DeepDive app? Does it match what the pros are doing?

I’m not sure chartreuse curly tail grub exists on modern technology

  • Super User

Cherry just boated a 4-10 at 2:40 according to Basstrakk. Gonna be hard to beat now.
