What is going on ?

$5 a gallon for 87 octane gas seems like the norm now.

Locally, Super and Rec gas are creeping up on $6 a gallon.

Seriously sad.

A couple weeks of Lake Menderchuck trips and I'll need to break out that Richard Nixon mask again.

It's always something.

We filled up at Sam’s Club this morning for $3.92 and was surprised at the lines. When we drove past other stations I saw why Sam’s was so busy, every other station was at $5!

Gas prices have gone from about $2.49/gal in late February to $4.09/gal today here in MN.

There's this narrow waterway in the Persian Gulf that you may have heard of called the Strait of Hormuz. It's basically been blocked off. About 20% of the global oil supply goes through there.

I'll bet someone here can comment about the cost of it on the west coast...

Everyone knows why prices have gone up……

I paid 4.48 today and passed at least 10 stations with regular between 4.75 - 4.99

NACHO

$6.49 for Diesel near me. First time ever I've actually considered just bank fishing over towing my boat 50 miles to my most productive spot.

It's over $6.00 on the left coast.

I paid the second-highest price per gallon that I have ever paid in my life. I paid $4.39 per gallon today. Most I’ve ever paid was $4.48 back in 2010. I have a feeling my next fill up is gonna overshoot my all time high pretty easily.

My last fill up on 87 was $5.49. Put about $125 in. $40 more than "normal".

Temporary sacrifice is worth it imo.

Could be much worse considering the alternative….

I felt lucky paying $4.59 yesterday. Decided to fill up even tho only needed half a tank. Woosahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Fed my truck $5.10 a gallon premium this evening. Two Vision 110's worth.

The reason it’s exceptionally high here in Michigan and the surrounding states is due to a BP refinery in Indiana being on strike. Great timing!

I’m very thankful and fortunate to have a company truck I get to take home. That thing costs $123 to fill up.

I was paying $4.50 a gallon in San Francisco in 2004, and when i had my jet boat back then i wasnt allowed to put it into any reservoir unless i showed the game and fish employee using a gas receipt my fuel didnt have MTBE.

How i remember that day, I had to turn my truck around and go back home and park it. From then on i kept it at the Delta, no rules.

The BP refinery in Whiting IN, is operating with replacement workers while a lock out is in effect and has been since March.

That’s what I had heard on the radio this week. I’m not surprised the radio would be wrong. 😁

Thirteen days ago I filled up at $3.91 a gallon, which is terrible. Two jumps later and today the best price I could find was $4.79. I'm actually going to hold off buying a sticker for my favorite lake because it's 131 miles round trip.
