I use spike-it markers in chart., blue, orange, and red. Almost every soft plastic i throw has some on it. I have never tried the brush-on kind though, too messy . I am sometimes messy.

I don't remember who makes it, but i have a cicada surface lure that looks / acts like a jitterbug. The "bib" is clear and the body looks realish i guess. It's all hard plastic. Tested only - really don't fish crawlers.

I too remove all line - tie split rings, and use a duo-lok snap. In 50+ yrs. of fishing, i have never had a factory hook split ring fail. I agree with Ajay that if you open them up a few times, they don't always snap back to original shape. The tactical bassing guys have alot of good content, but they are pushing product too.

Had season tickets from 1981 to 2015, and missed only 3 games in 35 years. First one was the playoff game against the Pack. Second one was when my dad passed, and the last when mrs. detroit's dad passed. The last 2 were pre-season games. After yesterday, i can no longer say i witnessed the only home playoff game win since the year i was born. (1957) I always joked about i would probabaly die the year they win it all again. I'm starting to get nervous.....😟

Detroit area's show ends today, started thursday. I went thurs. after work (like every year), because it is the only day that KVD has his seminar. They have this pool called "lake ultimate" that is stocked with hatchery trout. It's supposed to be the largest in america.( i estimate 100' x 35')I am amazed at his casting skills. 3/8 oz. spinnerbait, forward roll cast about 60', and hardly a ripple entering the water. He didn't catch a trout on the spnrb8, but did catch them on his jerkbait, a new crank from SK, and some on a ned. I could watch him cast at targets for hours. I spent about the same amount of money on tackleas i did for parking and entry. $25 i beat that Monkey down. 😛

When i first heard of stupid rig tubes i made some just using a ewg and mashing a splitshot weight on it. It works. I am cheap.

Unfortunate ending, but a good game to watch. Most thought Lions had no chance against the Dallas team in their house. Campbell should have kicked a field goal earlier in the game to make the score 7-6. I was okay with the first 2 pt. attempt- (you know, the one where the official said the wrong man claimed eligible), but i would've kicked the extra pt. and take my chances in overtime. Oh well, they can heal up some starters next week to prepare for our first home playoff game since moving to Ford field. Go Lions! Go away Goodell, with your "improved" officiating...
