  1. Go Lions...
  2. The Lions can't play outside in weather. HaHa. Goff / St. Brown connection have 30 straight completions. Crazy numbers for Goff this year. The Lions are on a mission...
  3. Not me....i haven't had a drink in over 5 years. Pretty proud of it too.
  4. Another example that stats don't always tell the story. Goff had 80 something pass yards, the Lions didn't get 300 yds. of offense, way less time with the, ball etc. etc. They get the job done. Most entertaining team out there. Watch them if you get the chance...
  5. If i targeted pike, i probably would catch less than i do now. Although the average size would be bigger because of the size of my "bass baits". I catch more legals (24") than not so it's not so bad as Gimruis' experience. I catch them on a d/s and they only broke me off 2 times that i can remember. Any cast with a spinnerbait, vibrating jig, or a DD22 and i just might catch a pike. Ajay lives near a lake ( St. Helen) that is full of those hammer handles...
  6. The only highlight of the Lion's game was a fake punt (converted) from their own 20 yard line for a first down. Dan walks around with them in a wheelbarrow.
  7. I would be embarrassed to take my reels to a store to have line put on them. c'mon man!
  8. Maybe someone borrowed some.
  9. We had winds up to 70mph tuesday, lost power for 19 hours. Cool lightning though...lots of rain.
  10. I can never understand why people want wild (or should be) animals for pets. Sure, everything is cute when they're babies, but they grow up.
  11. The bomber thatlooks like a mudbug is just called a bomber. Cotton Cordell sold a simular bait , and others possibly. I have some Cordell hot spots that are from the 70's that i still throw every once in a while. Original 1 knockers, (the glue didn't hold the weight,) and no bb's.
  12. Lynn is blessed to have you in her life. ❤️
  13. Well, don't catch so many and they will last for years. 😎
  14. I think you will have no problem hooking fish with that lure. No problems with regular spinnerbaits, even with long arm.
  15. Dropshotting a chomper's 4" worm in white/ black flake or green / black flake. Anywhere.
  16. Those "dice" or cube baits prove that bass will hit just about anything in the water. Pretty, expensive baits catch anglers. (and fish)
  17. I know it's gonna be a tough day catching when juvenile bluegills are high in the water and not tight to weeds. It tells me that they are not too worried about getting eaten by a bass or pike. Another is flat water. Flat water with clouds isn't as bad as full sun. What are your indicators that usually mean a tough bite?
  18. Nope. Not gonna say what i want to. Carry on.
  19. That's why i leave my net at home.
  20. I always start my my fishing day shallow no matter what time i get to the lake. Shallow fish (to me) are fish looking for food, and are somewhat easier to locate/catch. Any time of year.
  21. probably a hat ornament. unless there were a pack of them...

If you can't catch bass on a dropshot there is something wrong with you. It's not my favorite way to fish, but it's a rare outing that i don't use one at some point. Nothing is guaranteed, but always my go to when having difficulty getting bites. If you hate dropshotting there is something wrong with you. haha j/k
