Watching the B.a.s.s. tourney on St. Clair a few weeks back they quizzed the hosts on which state has the most registered boats. We were #1 with over 1,000,000. Geez!

When they go to bite the bait (on one of those spinshot thingys) they knock the bait around in a circle. Don't like them , will never use them, i want my bait rigid to the main line.

My favorite topwater is a std. size Chug bug that i custom painted the bottom to look like a perch, and the top is white with 6 black dots (easier for me to see).

If you are asking what color they can see best, in any sky condition,it would be black. I think color doesn't matter much on surface lures, and i fish clear water. Throw whatever you want, and have confidence in it.

Went to 2 Dicks near me this weekend, 2 short isles of fishing stuff. Looks like they teamed up with those Googans, as half of their lure selection was googan, and mystery tackle box crap (uh, stuff). I kid you not, they had a back wall from floor to ceiling full of yeti tumblers 10 yards wide. Half of their "outdoor" section were coolers and tankards. I don't think they had 20 rods, with half of them with a reel. Cheaper combo rigs. No need to visit them again...

I have a bigazz head and finding cheap sunglassesis an adventure. I had a Strike king pair that lasted acouple of years (broke) and had to get new ones this year.I found a pair at Menards for $20 and they fit perfect. When i got home and looked at myself wearing them and i started laughing. I kinda looked like Charles Nelson Riley. My fishin bud now calls me Nelson.

No. Always used vacation days . Also, no chance i (or any of the employees) could work from home. I turned 66 earlier this month and kinda planned on retiring the middle of Jan. next year. Not so fast mister. Now, i'm not so sure, i've worked for 50 yrs. (42 @ current place) and i am so used to it, i don't know if i can quit cold - turkey. I may see if i could just work 2 days a week, and 1 would be monday. (no need to go fishing after the lake gets torn up on the weekend)

Not a fan of using a walker in the wind. Flat or a slight ripple is the only time i use them, anything above that i am getting a little noisier.

The tailspinner looks like an L&S mirrolure of some type. The handpainted flat crank reminds me of a Doll bait, makers of the doll fly hairjigs.

My limit is 3 in ten min. or 1 hr, doesn't matter. Preferably with grill marks, mustard , chopped vedalia onions, and sometimes american cheese. I'll eat a coney,but not as much. Peppers and relish on a dog is never happening.
