  1. Wahaaaahaahahahaha Sorry :-X Hehehehhhe
  2. Looks delicious!! Those are an average size around here also.
  3. Far as I know they make 7/0 and 11/0 oversize offset worm hooks. http://www.ownerhooks.com/pages/products/hooks/basshooks.htm
  4. Agree with the others but would like to add that you should maybe try a t-rig craw instead fished very slow. Not a lot of cover but lots of points and humps? Drop shot could be a good option also.
  5. If I hear one more person say that show is soooo funny I am gonna puke! Watched it 3 times before and never even so much as cracked a smile.I know I know, must not have been one of the good episodes right?
  6. If he don't get back to you I'll forward you my email from him.
  7. Yep senko is a good one.Rig it backwards or stick a nail in the rear.Trickworm is another, with a nail in it of course.Zoom french fries also.
  8. It's a pretty good show. I always watch it. Pretty cool the way it is narrated and it is a little different. Probably watch it for his girlfriend more than anything ;D They just had the whole season marathon yesterday before the new season episode last night.I thought the newest was a little better than most of last seasons.
  9. Way to go! And kudos to the cameraman. Thats a good picture. I am not so lucky, see photo on left LOL :
  10. I am a total noob and the more I read the more I want to get out and do it. Thanks
  11. Hmmm. Never thought of sticking it on a shakey head. NICE 8-)
  12. If I weight it I usually just use a 1/16 oz.Just enought to give it a death spiral on the fall. The worm sinks pretty fast by itself and then again the lakes around here aren't deep anyways. I am mostly interested in seeing how nasty it looks weightless. Also after ripping it I am sure it could be clipped down and used like the 6.5 incher which in turn I use for shakey tails after those rip. 8-)
  13. Yamamoto is now making the Kut Tail in a 10 incher.I feel as though I might succumb to another attack from the monkey. :-/ Can we ever have too many plastics? ;D http://***/cgi-bin/order/7XL-05
  14. X2 EJ I was not aware that there were Firehouse subs in NC :-? I will never eat subway again after having the Italian or Hook and Ladder from Firehouse, awesome !
  15. It flat out catches fish. Must be retrieved very slowly just like a Jitterbug. Hookups are very good since the body is super soft. Will also carch fish in areas with little or no cover.
  16. The mad paca is killer fished any way you would fish a brush hog. C-rig,shakey,texas,flipped and pitched.Outstanding action on the fall. I haven't tried any of the others since the MP is the only one that interests me anyways.
  17. For one, try the Gambler flappin tails they are very soft and slithery and make a heck of a ruckus when retrieved. An excellent night bait. Are you rigging with the tail flat horizontally or vertically? Hope that makes sense. It is easier to show than tell. I rig those types of worms with the tail flat.In other words the hook rides underneath and if you lay the worm on a table the tail sits flat. If the worm is real stiff then put it in hot water for around 30 secs or so. I also do that with my buzz frogs.
  18. I got a question. Is this on season 3 ??? Or is it reruns of season 2 I can never watch it, or forget it is on, and I don't have a dvr
  19. It makes a good trailer if you want a REALLY bulky appearance.
  20. Paca Craw (hollow body, stands up indefinitely) Brush Hogs Trickworms Net bait T-Mac (like a trickworm but less salt) Yum dinger(need a large enough hook on the head) Yum Bigshow Paddle tail 6 inches Oops-more than 3
  21. You will however need to change splitrings if one is damaged in any way.Rusted or stuck open.It is a good idea to keep some on hand.
  22. The claws on the paca float up better than anything else I have seen due to the hollow body design.Ever seen it on a shakey head or shook on an unpegged texas rig. The zoom super speed craw is a nice bait and works well but the claws are very thick, bulky and heavy.Give me a rage or paca any day.
  23. Not a dumb question at all but I can't answer.I won't touch them. I am sure there are a lot of peeps on here that will tell you
  24. x1000 A few of the small couple acre ponds I fish had no obvious pressure at least for quite some time. When wefirst started fishingthem it really didn't matter what color, what speed, what size,or really what lure it was as long as the location and conditions were correct for the lure choices. In on lake in particular we could expect at minimum 20 fish on the worst of days and on good days at least 10 of the fifty or more fish we caught would be between 4-8 lbs. Now one year later after countless lure changes, size changes, weights, depths, retrieves,it is extremely uncommon to even catch one 3 pounder. If I could get into a school of 2 lb fish and catch 10 I would call it a very good day. There is no one else fishing this lake except a couple neighbors that mostly bobber fish for pans and catfish. These fish do not live in an aquarium, and they didn't just pack up and move somewhere else. In a place like that i think it is more than just seeing and hearing the lures. The sound of the boat, the motor, the fishfinder, any angler noise whatsoever or shadows, anchors etc. they will associate with danger. The place is so chock full of shad, tilapia, and bit size bluegills that the fish are no longer interested in moving things that look out of place scurrying along or swimming erratically. They just want the real thing and know it when the sense it. I agree however that we cannot give the fish too much credit for being such an intelligent creature. They can put 2 and 2 together and their instincts tell them the best way to survive.
