BPS Extreme or St. Croix Mojo
I use the Extreme for Flippin and Pitchin and love it. I haven't used the Mojo but I'm sure it's a great rod Either should be great for what you're using them for

What does "firetiger" imitate?
Sunfish or a bluegill, and it's best for me in stained and murky water.

Drop Shot - Usable from the bank?
I did great dropshotting at farm ponds last year. I drop shotted a trick worm and caught dozens of bass along with one of my biggest of the year. I see what you mean by not being able to fish the rig strait up and down, yet it is still definetly deadly from the bank. It would be better in deeper ponds so you aren't casting way out because if may become ineffective there. I usually target different types of structure found in ponds.

How well can bass see Braid??? Need a leader??
No leader for me I don't use one and it doesn't seem to be affecting me. I thought the same thing you did, What if I'm just fishing in a little bit of cover? You'll be ok, strait braid is my choice in any situation.

Buzzbait choices?
The buzzbait is the only lure that I'm not very picky about. I just choose according to color and they normally do the job. I've used many brands and the colors I like are white and chartruese.

One or Two ...
I have two different situations. If I have heard great things about them or my fishing buddy has used the bait then I will pick up two since I already know they work. If it is just something I see and want to try I will pick up just one. Then if it's great I'll pick up more. But, sometimes I just load up no matter what ;D

Rapala DT-FAT 01
I love them! Especially on crankbaits that they tend to short strike
