  1. Almost any tunnel can work but I look for Fresh and straight tunnels. The fresher and straigher the better. And never handle traps with your bare hands, wear gloves. Store traps outside in the weather. Good luck A-Jay
  2. At a bare minimum, I bring one boat. Full of rods. 5 rods....fugetaboutit. A-Jay

  6. I think after each fish is weighed 3 times a day, three days in a row, they kind of get used to it. ? A-Jay
  7. Standing for extended periods on the bow of the Pro-V Bass can make the OG legs a bit weary. This is one way to help that out. A-Jay
  8. Glad you're OK. Perhaps some casting practice with kevlar unda-pantz ? Or just a hookless bait then. ? A-Jay
  9. Doesn't hurt my feelings any that most of them are "some where else' when I'm doing my thing. Fish Hard A-Jay
  10. Nice Bass and Great Picture ! Congrats on both accounts A-Jay
  11. Well before the Pro-V Bass, I fished from an Old Town Canoe for 10 years and had it rigged up to carry 9 rigs. 5 Casting 4 spinning. Sort of strikes me that the responses here are centered around how much gear I use. Never really felt like 'a lot'. But it get the job done,. A-Jay
  12. I do not fish competitively, so I'm fishing against the environment & the bass, not other anglers. So if a basshead is catching giants, I say good for them. If they are not, I am hopeful that they will, if that's what they are looking to do. But in the the end, I understand what it takes for me, what I am willing to do, and how that can increase my chances of getting bigger bites. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it does not. No real secrets, just a level of commitment and attention to detail that works for me. YMMV A-Jay
  13. Yes - Big Time. For example: Red on casting rods is MH Mod with 15 lb FC Blue on casting rods is MH Fast also with 15 lb FC Yellow on Spinning gear is 7 ft M fast with 10 lb braid and 10 lb Mono or FC leader. FC is clear and the mono used for topwater is green. Good Luck A-Jay

  16. Casual Excise/Use Tax Change: If you purchase an outboard motor as a single unit, the casual excise tax is calculated at 5% with a $500.00 cap. The casual excise tax rate has not changed for a watercraft or watercraft/outboard motor purchased as a unit. The casual excise tax rate for a watercraft or watercraft and outboard motor purchased as a unit is 5% with a $500.00 cap. https://www.dnr.sc.gov/boating/Titling_and_Registration/index.html A-Jay

  20. If you do get a 10 lb bass, that's only $40 a pound. Sounds like a bargain. A-Jay
  21. I think Mexico has the same reputation. Just cast anywhere and DD fish are fighting for your bait. Not really reality. There may be more big fish, but they are still bass. A-Jay
  22. Bass will be waiting for you and so will we. A-Jay
  23. Bait Monkey just hit me with a major Birthday sneak attack ! Took a flyer on a couple of Tackle Warehouse Exclusive Rods. Daiwa DX Type-H Glass Reaction Casting Rods 7'3" Heavy and matched them with a pair of Daiwa Tatula Elite 6.3:1 Casting Reels. Like the deeper spool. Already have a career supply of line. Looking to step up my 1/2 oz Jackhammer Game. Completed the monkey uprising with some skirt material and a pair of specially patterned stick jackets to make new rig ID a breeze. All in I think it was about a Buck 3.80 plus tax. A-Jay
  24. Some of these are out of stock . A-Jay
