  1. And Americans shouldn't be forced to have anything put inside their bodies that they do not want. Your dog is not human and his/her rabies's vaccination is because the dog is unable to think for itself. The dog only knows you and instinct. If I see a human sneezing and coughing I'm not going to investigate. Your dog is going to see an animal in a weakened state and will react as it sees fit.
  2. Get on the phone and call. I've travelled the southeast with the boat and have found plenty of hotels that are trailer friendly.
  3. Patience grasshopper....Patience I was originally thinking about getting the Camp Chef sidekick, which comes with a 16" flat top, for my pellet grill but I'd have to remove the sear box if I wanted to use it and I use the sear box all the time. I've been eyeing the Blackstone 36" for a couple years but just couldn't pull the trigger. I was at Menards today buying pellets for the Camp Chef and a couple in the parking lot were getting ready to load the flat top in their car. I asked him about the cost and with the rebate it was under $200. and then the 2 of them started talking about the versatility of it, yada yada yada. I came home and asked here and elsewhere and I was sold.
  4. I grabbed a 2 burner, 36,000btu, 28" flat top today. Price couldn't be beat.
  5. Call Bob at World Wide Marine Underwriters. Best coverage, best pricing. They are a broker, not an insurer. They will set you up with a policy that works for you. I dropped State Farm (who insures may home and car) after I found out they were charging me double what they should have for boat insurance.
  6. Yeah. Does your dad go by 24poundbass?
  7. Mulling around buying one but I'm not sure how much use it would get. What are you guys using it for? Full meals? Vegetables? Breakfast? Do you use it regularly?
  8. There are days where I'd rather grab a shotgun and shoot the cormorants than fish.
  9. Have never got a flu shot and won't be getting a covid shot. To each his own.

Not sure what I'm looking at, but I'm guessing it's not you.
  11. I just looked up Illinois. I was under the assumption that canoes and kayaks didn't need to be registered regardless of being motorized or not. I was wrong.

Wayne gave an enlightening speech at CPAC this past weekend. Google it.
  14. I don't know the laws in NY, and I don't doubt you as I live in IL which is more corrupt than your state. NY considers an electrically propelled kayak as a motorized boat?
  15. 2 foot itis is a real disease.... Only thing I disagree with as far as the financing advice is to take the max amount of months and pay it off early. As you said in your video "Life happens" I'd rather pay $400 a month on a $200 note than pay $200, because life happened, on a $400 note. Believe it or not the bank that financed my last 2 boats had lower interest rates for longer terms. I'm not sure that is still the "going rate" but it's something to consider.
  16. Any advice on buying my 5th boat?
  17. I remove the pin in the storage lot where I keep my boat. Never thought to remove it at the ramp. Good idea! as long as you remember to put it back.
  18. Graphs are only on the boat when the boat is in the water.
  19. Best you can do is slow down a thief. If they want it, they'll get it. A battery angle grinder will cut thru any lock. You can only hope that the grinder would get someone's attention. and Yes I keep everything locked. A rabid guard skunk
  20. The Good Years are around $150 cheaper and they have a $75 rebate on top of that. I got a formal quote last oil change and if I recall correctly they were around $900 mounted and balanced. I've had Good Year do not only oil changes and tires on both trucks but mechanical work on the Tundra and a set of 4 trailer tires on the Lund. Pricing has always been fair, honest, and the work has always been quality. I'll continue to do business with these guys, but I'll lose out on the free rotations. I'm a loyal customer, just not happy with the wear on the current set of Wranglers. The tires shouldn't be at the wear indicators at 40,000mi for a 60,000mi tire that has been rotated every 5000 miles. I didn't have this issue with the Tundra, but those had a different load rating and run at 35psi and the Tundra had an independent front suspension, whereas the Ford has a solid front axle and the tires run at 65psi. The Tundra came stock with Michillen's don't remember which model but they were a street tire. I got 65,000 out of them but they lacked traction on many boat ramps
