I've never heard the phrase alpha female until this weekend. My sister was coined an alpha female by someone she works with/for. She's not an alpha female, she just doesn't put up with BS. I've owned both dogs and cats. Had a 100lb golden retriever that was very alpha male to every dog he came in contact with except my female lab/great dane who weighed 40 lbs and called the shots. We currently have cats. The cats are siblings, both fixed and the male weighs 23lbs compared to the female that weighs 7lbs. The female was first born and the male was the runt. She's mean and he rarely screws with her. When he does, it's no holes barred, and quite the **** show. Always happens in the middle of the night when everyone is asleep.

I still haven't done a brisket. I've heard so many stories about dry results and that you really need to babysit the temp. One of these days I'll get around to it.
  4. A cheaper option might be plastic cutting boards
  5. The only way he could cast past the weeds was to do a little wading. I'm proud of him. Had his first fish casualty today. The perch must have died from stress. It wasn't foul hooked and wasn't out of the water that long. He put the fish in the lake and it was lying on its side. He spent about 5 minutes trying to right it. The fish took off like a bat out of hell and went belly up on the surface. He was begging me to take it home and eat it for dinner. I told him it was too small to clean and the birds or turtles will eat it for dinner.

Did the burger recipe come with a cardiologists phone number?
  7. You should be able to find something if you Google it. Plastic sheet or plastic block.
  8. there are a ton of videos on YouTube that will answer your questions.
  9. Why? You can buy a piece of plastic sheeting the exact measurements. Probably cost more than making it yourself but will never rot.
  10. Enjoying some Elijah Craig in the backyard waiting for the rain to show up
  11. You never know when evil will rear its ugly head. I only post this because it's a place we as sportsmen frequent. https://www.fox10tv.com/news/witness-describes-scene-as-police-take-down-shooter-at-bass-pro-shops/article_6259d840-efd6-11ea-a81f-ef53321b13d7.html

6 hours in and just about ready to take off the stove.
  13. Did I miss the change or are we still waiting?
  14. I have both. Neither one is a replacement for the other. Shallow water anchors are great for shallow water. Spot lock is great for off shore fishing. If you primarily fish shallow, go with the anchors, you won't be happy with spot lock. Spot lock is going to battle current and wind and adjust as needed. The bow will always be head into the wind or current. If you have wind/current at your side or back, the boat will right itself and may leave the boat positioned not how you want it.

I'm cooking up my last bit of venison this weekend to make room for more
  17. In general, if the hotfoot is added aftermarket, the installer should have left the original cable stashed inside the boat.
  18. I'll beat you with my cane
  19. Hell, I remember phone numbers with letter prefixes.
  20. We're not all like that. My neighbor spent 4 weeks a year for 10 years volunteering for Habitat for Humanity to help rebuild in the poor neighborhoods that got hit hard from Katrina
  21. Beck, Busse, Sterling, Independence Grove, Skokie Lagoons
  22. This recipe but I used water instead of stock and cooked it in the Camp Chef rather than the oven.
  23. It was fantastic.
