Can you say vehicle gun safe? While they are far from perfect, somebody checking for unlocked vehicle doors probably doesn't have a set of electricians dykes or cable cutters with them. My carry weapon doesn't remain in my truck, if I am not in my truck and, unless I'm on a long ride, it stays on my hip. My truck is always locked. Where I live I don't trust anybody. If I am on a long trip, I will pull the gun out of the console, strap it to my hip, and go into the gas station to use the restroom or buy snacks, and put it back in the console to continue on. It amazes me as to how stupid people are. People leave their kids in the car, with the engine running, to run into a 7/11 or gas station and their car gets jacked. Kid(s) get left on the street a few blocks away, if they're lucky.

I appreciate the excitement you have for your state. Will employ a bunch of people in building the plant and operation of the plant. Unless the automakers, and/or engineering entrepreneurs, can turn out an affordable EV, and figure out a better technology than lithium, the TN prosperity will be short lived. If any of you guys know Rick Fry, it is my understanding he passed away last night. He was a tournament angler in Northern IL, I used to compete with him. Also a marine mechanic and part time guide in N Illinois and S Wisconsin. Don't know the details.

It's insane if they do not keep up the fisheries and use it as a tax on sportsmen. IL fees are relatively cheap and the lack of fisheries management and enforcement shows it. I pay $60 for an annual non resident WI license and Great Lakes trout stamp. Wisconsin's fisheries management is better managed than IL because much of their tourism depends on it.

Work unclutters mine. Maybe I'm a bit different than most. Had a customer come in the store while I was helping out another customer on the phone. The walk in customer made a comment that "I'm saving the world" I'm not saving the world. The best part of my job is figuring stuff out. While, I've been in my industry for 25 years, I've probably learned more in the last 10 years, being out of the field, than the 15 years prior, in the field. I read directions to people. That's what I do. When people can't figure out stuff, I figure it out for them.

Do you want a gps for the boat or a gps in general? Honestly, a handheld GPS when it comes to fishing, is only good for ice fishing and, you are able to find waypoints from softwater, on hardwater.

I would never buy another brand. And, I think they are cheaper than Thill bobbers. The video speaks of casting distance. He failed to mention accuracy. They are like casting a lure.

My home water is considered "soup bowl" Little if any structure with an average depth of 4ft and max depth of 30ft. I'm a bank beater or fish the weedlines here. Most of the northern IL lakes are just like this. Unless it's during the spawn, it's one and done for me. Offshore structure fishes differently than inshore cover.

I've owned 4 riveted hull boats. 2 Lunds, a Mirrocraft, and a Starcfaft. None of them have leaked. One of the Lunds and the Starcraft are/were little 14 footers. The Lund was a 20 footer and the predecessor to the ProV Bass. The boat was solid. It saw water every weekend from ice out to ice up. I ran it on Lake Michigan and my home water, which is the busiest inland freshwater waterway per acre in the US. I only bring up those examples because the boat saw some rough stuff, pretty regularly, and performed flawlessly. I bought riveted hull boats because I've seen multiple warped welded hulls. Without knowing the background of how they warped, I can only guess it was from rough water. The higher end Lunds and Alumacrafts have a double plated bow. Can't do that with a weld. Don't have any personal experience with Vexus. They are a sharp looking boat and have years of knowledge behind them. Hopefully they make things right.

Are you fishing shallow or deep? Are you fishing large or small structure?

The keel is welded. Everything else is riveted. Alumacraft makes a fine boat. I wouldn't necessarily call them a lower priced boat. I haven't seen an Alumacraft layout that I have fallen in love with. Lund makes every inch of the layout functional.

I would welcome any information as long as they are not pushing product.
