  1. I tried searching for that thread. I think it dates too far back
  2. Or worse...How does someone contact you?
  3. Awesome. Thanks for breaking the seal.
  4. Fantastic....BUT and I'm new to this GFM are you able to donate using your BR username or not? If not, EVERYONE who donates, please send me a PM with your real name so I can keep track of who's who for the final drawing. THANKS
  5. If and when you guys/gals donate, please refrain from using the word raffle. Apparently it's against the gofundme rules.
  6. My company's corporate office and warehouse is right down the street from there on Grand Halstead, and Milwaukee. Have you ever stopped in at Maillards Tavern? It shares the lot with my warehouse. They've got a good burger but the french fries are by far the best I've ever had. They deep fry the fries in duck fat rather than oil.
  7. Fishmas in January raffle Long story short. I missed joining Fishmas 2021. I could make up a story but, the truth is I forgot about it. I’m not sure of the logistics but, completely unsolicited, Mike Siebert @Siebert Outdoors connected with @deaknh03 Mike bought Christmas gifts for my grandson. While I truly appreciated the gesture. I also want to give back. I got the ok from @Glenn I'm going to run a raffle for https://www.catchadream.org/ I am going to raffle off a $50.00 gift pack of Siebert Outdoors merchandise https://siebertoutdoors.com/ pictured below. The raffle begins on Jan 1st 2022 and ends on Jan 31st 2022. I have set up a go fund me page titled BR Fishmas in January for Charity. 100% of your donations will go directly to https://www.catchadream.org/ While I don’t have a “goal” number in mind, I’m forced to set one up. Every bit helps. Let’s beat it. The raffle is open to all BR members with at least 100 posts. I don’t want people who do not participate in the forum to sign up just for the raffle although donations are still appreciated. Click on the Go Fund Me link below. Make a donation under your BR username. $5 minimum donation and no maximum. You can only enter once. On or around Feb 1st we will pick a random name from the list of donors, announce it in this thread, and the winner can work with @Siebert Outdoors to get his/her $50 in merchandise. (Shipping cost is the responsibility of the winner). https://gofund***9d71b458
  8. First snowfall today. Got maybe 2" of heavy wet heart attack snow.
  9. Brett Favre's biggest fan RIP
  10. Drove by there a couple weeks ago heading to North Riverside mall to grab a Nintendo for the grandson. Didn't even occur to me to stop.
  11. Did you get in on Portillos when they went public about 2 months ago? I stopped being a fan of Portillos when it was sold 10 or so years ago. The beefs got smaller and price increased. Crazy how cars are lined up in the drive thru during the lunch and dinner rush. And that's been going on forever. Portillos has a fantastic chocolate cake. I haven't been to Johnnie's in years. Haven’t been in the neighborhood in years. I worked as a porter/detailer at Elmwood Ford when I was a kid. Right across from Horwaths restaurant, the famous mafia hangout which is now a strip mall. Elmwood Ford was shut down by the feds sometime after I left. Dare I say I may have participated in some of the wrong doing because well, I was just doing what the bosses told me to do.
  12. From the original list, Potbellys
  13. A friend of my sons is in his early 30s with $150,000 tied up in a bass boat and tow vehicle. He and his wife and kid live in his parents basement. Priorities.....
  14. PB was caught in the morning. I've caught plenty of 5lb+ bass between 10-2. Part of it might be targeting shade. Early morning and early evening, fish might be more likely to be cruising rather than hiding from the sun.
  15. Batteries are a dealer installed option. No sense in the factory throwing in wet cells when the buyer wants AGM's or Lithium.
  16. Guess I didn't know there are scorpion buffets here in the states
  17. We did clams, mussels, calamari, octopus. I made a lobster mac n cheese. my son made a crawfish Rangoon. Cannoli's, pizzelle's, and biscoti, for desert. No pasta this year. Now that mom is gone, no one wants to take the time to make lasagna or manicotti. Are you in the Philippines currently? You survived the typhoon?
  18. I took next week off but decided to work 1/2 a week instead. We're short handed and my original plans got cancelled. I'll just rollover the days or cash them out.
  19. Still dry as a bone on this side of the pond.
  20. I have a cardiff. Don't care for it. I'd rather use the C3 or C4 which are pretty indestructible. I retired mine years ago.
  21. No. It's a beast of a reel though. Big in the musky world.
  22. Crop dusting will be the next lesson. ?
