  1. Good cover
  2. Stored my boats in a "working" lot for 20 years. By "working" I mean trucks and work vehicles which were used daily were stored there. Cameras all over and the lot owner, office girl, and yard men were onsite 10 hours a day. I don't think I would trust an actual storage facility where there's no one around.

  4. What are you doing/trying this year that's new? I'm going to take my grandson on my home water. Sold the Lund last year and have been fishing out of a 14 footer with my grandson. I've been taking him to just one lake. Decided I'm going to pay the usage fee on my home water this year to take him out. Frickin kid has been over a few times this week and asks every time when we're going fishing.

  6. With the right shoes and matching purse, you don't need to worry about the color of the kayak.
  7. Shameless bump C'mon guys. Lets get this rolling. We're 15% of our goal after 1 week. 3 weeks left. Your money starts where Make-A-Wish stops and a chance to get some hand tied jigs from @Siebert Outdoors is well worth it. Their mission statement It is this very message of hope, as promised in Isaiah 40:31, that we seek to instill in these children and their families. We use hunting and fishing as opportune tools to expose them to the “..wonders of God…” that await them in “The High Country,” as they spend time in the outdoors, away from the bleak and sterile world of medical facilities, treatments, and hospital gowns, but in the presence of The Creator who is the Author of real hope. On each trip, the children and the family members who accompany them, are surrounded by outdoors-minded people who understand that these children are often “…sick and tired of being sick and tired!” A designated Catch-A-Dream host accompanies each family and, together with outfitters and local volunteers, facilitate their dream experience, love and nurture them through the strong personal relationships that inevitably are forged in the lodge, on the stream or in the woods. Hosts and volunteers often become their best friends, and remain a part of their families long after the dream trip has concluded. As one volunteer eloquently stated, “We can’t change the whole world; but we can change someone’s whole world for at least a short period!” Many parents have confirmed that the mission is consistently accomplished!
  8. The fact you used the word plugs shows you're an old fart Got to be the ONLY pic ever of Bill Dance without a Tennessee hat on.

  11. High today was 15* and I believe they said the high for tomorrow will happen at midnight tonight. Winter in the midwest. We were lucky thru the end of Dec. with warmer than normal temps.
  12. Pretty sure you're stepping on @Bluebasser86 toes. Better be careful.
  13. Get yourself 22 more posts before Jan 31st and I'll count you in. That's just about 1 a day
  14. Thank you for the donation
  15. nice
  16. Maybe your coworker was right and things have changed. Maybe the promotion is still going to happen. Maybe you'll hate every second with the new ownership. Hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
  17. You've fished TB long enough. Shouldn't you be telling the pro's the go to bait?
  18. Agree. Lead baits need minimal adjustment at best. I find when throwing cranks or jerks, into the wind, I have to slow things down a bit to prevent backlash. As far as line, I tend to stick with 12lb-14lb test fluoro on my baitcasters. My home water has an average depth of 4ft and a max of 30ft. I don't need to use heavy line to get baits to go deeper. I can adjust my pauses and retrieve if I'm fishing elsewhere.
  19. Agree and disagree. Set 1 time accordingly providing you are throwing similar weighted baits. BUT adjustments may be necessary depending on wind. Thumb control isn't 100%, 100% of the time
  20. Not familiar with the reel(s). Does it only have an adjustable external brake or does it also have internal brakes that can be adjusted?
  21. Just in case you guys hadn't noticed, I've started a thread for a Fishmas raffle. I'm running it until Jan 31st. Minimum donation is $5 and 100% of the proceeds go to https://www.catchadream.org/
