What’s the limit and when do the reactions replenish? Guess I went overboard again …..but it is Christmas.
  4. I probably won’t be on a computer or phone much over the next couple days. so let me say thie now. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! May your cheeks hurt from smiling and your stomach get sore from laughing. Please stay safe. G
  5. I should you’all this…. I forgot my fishing poles once, please don’t tell anyone, but I left them on the dock. I got all the way to my first fishing spot. This usually when I have my egg & cheese biscuit and coffee. Lowered the trolling motor, it was then I noticed no poles in the boat. I go that instant picture flash ….. I laid them on the bench at the dock.
  6. @rboat you just reminded…. I used to use a CD wallet… it had a bunch of sleeves, it worked pretty good. I switched tackle bags, then I switched to a 3600, cut out.
  7. @TNBankFishing… that thing is huge. Holds a lot of bait. I use a Plano 3600, I cut slots it the dividers, with the jig head on one side and the blades on the other. It doesn’t hold no where near as much as the flambeau does.
  8. Think said this before…. If I’m hawg hunting, electronics off, motor and trolling up, and I pole in. I use the the push pole to stick pin myself in place and set for awhile. This is my goal, I’m probably not as quiet as those in canoes and kayaks, but try to be. If I’m out just fishing, I’m relatively quiet but not crazy about it. When I take someone with me we are usually laughing and talking.
  9. Me too…. I’m a wrap it up we’re loosing daylight kinda person.
  10. @Eric 26 you got some nice things again…. Does that white crankbait float?
  11. I leave them in original packages and use Plano speed bags, the smaller one. 10”-12” go all the way across, straight tailed on the left, any worm with a tail, curly, paddle, etc, on the right. have another one for creature and tubes.
  12. The force is strong in this one, I think yes. Just kidding ya. It’s great when you can connect like that. I total get it
  13. I’ve got two telescopic rigs I keep in the truck. They not expensive at all. I have found, for me any way, rods take a beating keeping them in a vehicle . They are for that spur of the moment, see a cool place to fish. One has a no-name generic spinning reel, the other has a Zebco Omega 20 spincaster. Keeping reels in the car is rough on the too. Besides getting knocked around, here in Florida the heat is hard on them. Melts the grease out of them. That is a nice set up for your bike @bulldog1935
  14. I’m with @MN Fisher…. I like the screw lock.
  15. Hi

Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida
  16. I’ve have had an inflatable fishing tube, canoe, Kayak, Jon boat, and my current boat…… a glorified Jon boat. A 15/48 mod-v with 25hp. I would choose a canoe over a kayak any day, I don’t mind going out and kayaking. Paddling around exploring, enjoying nature. Just didn’t like fishing out of one, casting from water level is one of my biggest hang ups. A canoe…. I’m up just enough to make casting easier, plus more accurate.
  17. I have a IPad and IPhone, it’s not that I’m brand loyal to apple, it’s just what I learned on. I just updated from a iPhone 7 to a 16, if that wasn’t hard enough. The new update, a few weeks after I got it, has the fonts and display all jacked up.
  18. I’ve already have a few picked out, easy access ones. A lot of work went into this book. With topo work, getting the depths. Testing the water, access points, and directions on how to get there. I didn’t know the forestry department put out books like this. This one was published in 1996, 1998. I’m going to stop in to the one near me and ask if they have other ones.
  19. I happened by an estate sale….. found a cool book, that is going to be my guide to some cool adventures. It was published by eastern national park with USDA Forest Division. It has a list of lakes and ponds in Ocala National Forest. A lot of them I didn’t know they existed. I think go check out a few to bank fish and see if they warrant dragging a canoe too. Some have ramps, some are hike in and bank fish. The book seems pretty thorough, gives location and directions, size, vegetation, ph all kinds of other things. Most of the info is on two pages, so if anybody wants me to pm the info on a specific place let me know. They couple were avid kayakers and canoers. They also had a lot of other books and maps too. They seemed like very interesting people.
  20. I’ve have 6th sense and BPS flatsider….. I like both, but BPS flatsider has one color “American Shad” that really works for me. Black back, deep blue edges going to green, with flashy cut outs on the sides. I just got to quit loosening them, I’m up to 3 or 4 snagged so far. https://www.basspro.com/p/bass-pro-shops-xps-flatsider-crankbait
  21. W What they fishing, or were they not fishing at all?
  22. I do boat maintenance every year. I’ve never blown up my vest to check for leaks. I have changed C02 and the pill/bobbin and checked it for leaks then. Better add that to the list.
  23. Oh Man…… @Eric 26 I’m jealous….. cool gift. Like the jerk bait. Do they give you any info on the lures? Does it suspend, float , or deep dive?
  24. I’ve gotten a lot of bites on the pause, and it’s floating back up. I like to do a rod sweep to get it started down, then jerk, jerk, reel up slack, repeat. Then after a few of those a pause and let it float up for a few seconds or until it surfaces. Sometimes I’ll count how long it takes to surface and do a rod sweep a second before it surfaces. Trying to mimic a dying minnow and it’s effort to stay down.
