  1. Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida.
  2. My grandfather and two of his brothers and two of my grandmothers brothers went too. My grandfather went to the Philippines his brothers went to Europe. Grandmother’s brothers went to fight in Europe too. Pearl Harbor unified our country with a bond that was unmeasurable. Somethings were set in stone…
  3. I’m not just overwhelmed, I’m embarrassed…… got a lot of whopper ploppers = 0 zero fish. Have many buzz baits, all kinds of color, with or without clackers. = a lot of fish and they cost a $1.00+ at Walmart. The list is long.
  4. I’ve had costa, Rayban’s, and a few others, liked them all. But now, I grab the ones in the fishing section at Walmart. They are under $20 and not a bad pair of shades. Just check them to be sure the whole lens is polarized and not just a strip in the middle of the lens. I’m hard on glasses when they get dirty I usually dip them over board, knock off excess water on my leg. Then dry them with my shirt.

I have 3-4, I shelved mine in the “don’t work for me” years ago.
  6. I’d like for all of us be here and have this discussion in at the end of 2026. I still want a DD, and fish more of course.
  7. Looks like you getting some cools stuff. Will be eagerly waiting for the next update.
  8. I have a few trailers @rboat and it took me awhile to learn them. Still takes a minute to click with the one I’m using. My fishing boat and the utility trailer are what I call my quick trailers. They seem like the have a mind of their own, and are right beside you in a flash. I have a 18ft flat bed, I use to haul the tractor, it’s the easiest trailer I’ve ever backed. I think I could go from Florida to Maine backwards on the interstate, and keep up with traffic. It will click.
  9. Hi from the Sunshine State of Florida.
  10. Sounds like I need to put some on my next order. I assume the usual colors apply…. Green pumpkin, junebug, watermelon and a variation of red?
  11. I will keep ya in my thoughts and still send prays and good vibes your way too. keep your eyes on the horizon
  12. You mean Bob? His cousin Bill… you’ve heard of him?… right?…. Lives down the street.
  13. I agree with @Jigfishn10 and @Alex from GA I weigh out the options and how difficult it is to replace and what happens if the part fails. It it going to be a catastrophic failure or just ruin my day. Both OEM and aftermarket new parts can fail. Hard choice sometimes. I use https://www.boats.net/ for aftermarket parts. I’ve had real good service from them too. I can’t promise you’ll get the same, but I’ve had a good track record with them.
  14. I personally do a kit, along with a thermostat, if it has it a poppet valve, I replace it too. I had an overheat alarm going off, I replaced them again, still had the the alarm buzzer still. Found out I had a poppet valve, it opens as a secondary thermostat. Problem solved. Some don’t have them, might want to check it out.
  15. @Jigfishn10 What are you using for spray equipment or is that a rattle can
  16. That’s too cool… please do …do the updates…
  17. Ha…you’re funny @Swamp Girl….. asking what am I doing wrong on catching fish. With your numbers? Thats like Bill Ross asking me on how to paint a picture, or Mike Tyson asking me how to box. Even better, Chuck Norris asking me…. Well don’t know what Chuck Norris would ask me… He’d probably tell me the answer to the question I haven’t asked and I’d better get it right.
  18. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1Eiw2CkHFu/?mibextid=wwXIfr just got this, it is low at Rodman
  19. I buy the cheap ones from Walmart…. The $1.00 something ones and they do pretty good. I don’t cry to hard if I loose them. They have differs colors and blades too, you have to check them when ya go. They change it up…. Sometimes willow blades, sometimes willow.
  20. I am the wrong person to give advice to anyone on this matter. I’ve got lures I don’t use in an area I might loose them. I try to use my Dad’s theory…. “ I bought it to catch with it or to loose it.
  21. Thanks for reminding me @Jig Man …. Need to order new tires for my trailer. I rarely use the stupid trailer, so my tires age-out before they wear out. The spare has never met the asphalt but, need to replace it too. I keep them covered as well, they still check-out.
