Do you still replace your spool bearings to ceramic hybrids?
I replace them with stainless, not ceramic, when needed. A good abec 5 or 7, and I grease them. I know it’s kinda fighting against me, but I like a smooth consistency casting reel. I really don’t bomb one out there. And easy and accurate cast is more important to me. A lot of reels have unrated bearings from the factory.

New Video: Follow Bass To Transition Banks
I’ve always tried to fish the transition points in the water. Wether it be creek to river, steep the shallow, just some kind of change. Always like your articles and videos @Glenn….thanks.

What's your most memorable bass?
I have never caught a 10 lber…. But I did break my personal best twice in one day…. For years my PB was 5 pounds, then back to back, within 20 minutes of each other, caught a 6.5, then just over 7. I fished hard for the next hour or so, hoping to keep the run going, then I just sat a drifted. Listened to the sounds, watched nature for a while, then went back to fishing. It was a good day.

What are your favorite Bladed Jig trailers and what conditions do you fish them?
Man, those are pretty big trailers…. I’ve only ever use a small split tail, or a piece of a worm of various colors. If I use a trailer at all. Maybe that’s why I haven’t caught much of anything on them. Does anybody fish them without a trailer?

Crankbaits
I made a commitment to fish more hard bait/crank baits last year….. my numbers went down and smaller fish, plus a trip to the clinic to get a treble removed from my finger. I couldn’t get it out by myself. I did learn a lot and I’m not going to give them up, just not fish them exclusive. I did get a new combo out of it too. Yep to bait monkey beat me up profusely about the wallet last year. But I got to spend some time on the water… so it’s all good.

Bait Aerodynamics/Air Resistance & Maximizing Distance While Minimizing Backlashes
@DEPS_250, have you balanced your set-up? It makes the rod and reel feel lighter, although it’s not, it works together with the aerodynamics, and the ease of casting/ distance. I love it when everything is balanced and dialed in, wether your casting short or long. I’m probably overthinking it like @looking45 said.

Catching big fish: Luck or Skill?
I understand where your coming from. I have time when I go Hawg hunting and days when I just go fishing. When I go trying to get the big ones, I think about places, less fished and may hold the big ones. I go super stealth, fish differently. I caught my PB(7+) when I was just fishing, that’s when I think luck was on my side. Go figure.

Catching big fish: Luck or Skill?
Skill and luck….and I’ll add a 3rd one in the mix. Experience….. to know where and when to fish, and how to fish a certain bait or conditions. All this, everyone has learned through experience and time on the water.

Egg$!
Egg prices here are off the chain too. @TnRiver46 the duck eggs I get from a lady near by have a huge yoke compared to the white. Super rich too too, love them.

Giving back
@jbmaine good deal…. Please tell your wife “thank you” her quilts are giving comfort to someone that needs it, even if just a little, sometimes just that little bit more, is all you need. Thank you too.

Break down rods?
@Bazoo you have a Walmart near ya….. Ozark Trail had some rods that were what you might like, kinda heavier backbone but lighter tip for casting. But for the life of me, I can’t remember if the where two pieces or not. I keep two telescopic rods in the truck, they collapse down and fit into a back pack.
