U-4O
Part of the reason U-40 is such a good product is that it's a very light coat. That's partly why a treated grip still feels natural. With excessive wear and washing, I think an occasional re-coat might, in some circumstances, be helpful. It won't hurt to re-apply, even if you don't need it. (in that case it just wouldn't penetrate)

Reel trouble
Even a stella will cast like crap with twisted up line. Also those prelined combos often come with line that's too thick in Dia. to cast great... Seriously, troll the line and see if that fixed it... it's a free option.

A man of principle... just another reason you are top shelf in my book, Raul.

A little Belton surprise
Monday night ago, I had about 2 hours to kill so I ran over and got the boat... had an hour & a half on the lake. Caught 7 fish, including these 2 back to back about 15 minutes apart. Sorry for the phone pics, I forgot the camera. Not quite the "bullets" that Belton is famous for. The lighter fish was considerable longer, but awfully skinny. The shorter one was real broad across the shoulders and back 5-0 5-6

That's a good response and very polite/professional. Kudos to E-21.

Ballistics and Monopod shooting stick
Most loads show a 'short' and 'long' range zero. Look on the website, if it's not on the box. What ammo is it? The sticks are helpful on open ground if you can't lay prone but a tree or big rock, etc. are better than a stick. If you intend to shoot with a sticks in the field, do so at the range to get the feel of them... they aren't real solid, but are better then a standing off hand shot most of the time.

Will this work for deep diving crankbaits?
It should make a good deep cranking rod. The ugly sticks are usually mod to slow action. (or parabolic, depending on your color ) As are many/most of the cranking rods. And it's 7'6" so you should be able to cast it pretty far. (which helps with deep divers to keep them in the strike zone longer)

Reel trouble
Sounds to me like the line is twisted up. Either troll your line or reline the reel to correct the problem. RW, he said it is a spinning reel.

Why would a bait manufacturer screw up a good bait?
Natural, Could you take one of the originals to one of our crankbait makers and have them replicate a few for you? I know the custom cranks are expensive but probably less than the collector value of the originals plus, you'll get new paint.

Potential Record-Tying bass "May" be invalid
Seems like something like being in an off limits area would have surfaced before now. As crowded as those lakes are reported to be, I doubt it would take so long for the "facts" to come out. I'd love it if it were completely vetted as a "good" catch and then he didn't submit to igfa... ;D I guess there wouldn't even be an undisputed record, even if it was caught during taping of a show where the cast set and entire fight & landing was shown, uncut.

FLW IS BETTER THAN BASS!!!
See what using cheap equipment does to you, even kvd is handicapped with it! ;D ;D also kidding!

CARROT STIX
What a post... if Long mike sees this. I'm continually amazed that people with sponsors can't spell sponsor. Not that there is a consistent problem, but with 45-50 of them, you haven't used many of them very much. Someone who is sponsored by e21 might do a little reading on them. Might not want to tell them that, at least not if you'd like to keep them as a sponsor. : Perhaps Boyd Ducket doesn't need an orange rod to get someone's attention to talk about a bait, or perhaps he doesn't like to abuse a relationship like that. Anything can be used as a tool... and a decent salesman doesn't rely on a paint job. No offense bass2themax, but that post is like moldy swiss cheese.

His gun was fake/Homeowners wasn't..
BassnBlvd, I think you are unnecessarily taking this personally, the police can't prevent it all... I agree wholeheartedly that people have to be prepared/able to protect themselves because often times the police are reactive. They have to be most of the time... our town of 20,000 has only 5-6 officers on patrol on any give shift. Much crime is random so it's not predictable.... if it was, no burgler would invade an occupied home with an armed occupant. There was a random rash of car vandalism 2 nights ago on our street... both my truck and the wife's suv were hit... I could have prevented it by sitting out there all night with my shotgun, but weighing the risks and benefits of no sleep, insurance, etc... it's not practical to be "on duty" all the time.

Core 50MG7 specs & photos
How much do they weigh when they are full of line? I think the point is that even full, they are lighter than other spools since it's a lighter spool... well more so since they hold so little line. :

how to go from calm to enraged.....
if the house is still in both your names and the divorce didn't award it solely to one of you then both still need to sign to sell... seems to me that you have some leverage, assuming we have the pertinent facts. (I'm only familiar with real estate law in a few states, so double check yours) know ahead of that discussion, what your cooperation and ability to be further removed from her/this is worth. it may not be worth a little cash to rid yourself of the stress.

IMX vs GLX
maybe we should call you no 2 instead

Good Frogging Rod Under $75?
your reel is fine, however, #10 fireline is not sufficient for frogging. You'll have horrendous digging into your spool, not to mention that you'll be breaking line all the time.

Catch and Release?
Bob C. I fish because, like you, I enjoy it. I don't keep fish because I don't like the taste or texture of fish. But since you brought it up... why do you release most fish, aren't you concerned about the welfare of the fish you catch and release? : Standards are good... double standards are not.

If you could, WHERE?
Ry Roberts has been a jewel for a long time!! I used to fish it fairly regularly in the mid-late 90's. The pros won't ruin it... there will be a little more pressure, but by nature of the location I doubt it will ever be hammered unless a state record comes out of it.

If you could, WHERE?
Depends on whether or not YOU are operating the trolling motor!! :

IMX vs GLX
I'm sure you didn't mean it that way but it comes across poorly. It makes you sound like a bitter guy without the dollars.
