  1. OUCH! Sounds painful....actually, I was in a rush at work a few years back and got something out of the truck and did the same thing. Not sure how I did it either ... The pain was real
  2. Wow @TnRiver46, I figured you for a red paisley handkerchief patch guy on those pants
  3. Are you trying to make it blend in with the belly of the bait to minimize flash Tom? EDIT: king fisher I remember guys used to take the floating jerkbaits and drilling holes in them so they can fill bait with water to do exactly what you’re doing @king fisher
  4. Results from bad chili? J/K did the municipal pipes recently get cleaned and chlorinated?
  5. My son and I were gonna go fishing yesterday, but I really didn't want to buy him a license for 1 day
  6. Seriously, what do you really think and please don’t hold back I shouldn’t have read this while drinking coffee. Gotta run and clean my computer screen
  7. Interesting. Without removing the ballast/rattles?
  8. Sorry for bringing this back, I linked it to another thread to illustrate the color topic of the post. Thank you

Thank you @Catt. Hoping 2025 has both my parents up on the beach this summer like they have since 1989 ... ... father time and dementia has hit them hard these past couple of years but whatever they need I'll be there. And @Glenn, hoping your dad will be healthy his year Happy New Year all ...
  10. Not to add more to the color confusion:
  11. Exactly...Perfection loop would be my preference
  12. WOW! What a year. Congrats. Hoping you make that century mark in ‘25. I really need to keep a better log and take more pics of my trips with my son. Sounds like a resolution huh? Nice job bud John
  13. You still have that? All time best lipless crankbait I own Years ago I got this from Janns Netcraft....Almost positive I have a #2 treble on the belly and #4 at the rear
  14. I think a lipped crankbait is a totally different bait than their non-lipped cousins. I find each has it's own place in different waters. I can fish a lipless crank year round but around here by mid to late June when the weeds grow in, the lipped version gets put away. For me anyway. Both are great lures.
  15. Work smarter not harder Guilty!
  16. I can send my son down to make a believer out of you with strict instructions not to embarrass you like he did with me Wish ya luck man
  17. Color is tricky not only because of what bass see but you factor in what happens to color in water. Red, for example, gets lost after 5’ in clear water, add in a stain and it gets lost faster. I fish between 30 & 60’ of water in the ocean and a good producer is maroon bucktail. It must look like a dark gray down there. In the case of of chartreuse, bass are probably seeing a shade of white that looks like “something” in their environment
  18. Some of those you showed in the vid look like centipedes on steroids! Nice vid @Glenn, love the idea
  19. Hahaha ...Those 2 guys are from the way back machine ...
  20. I would think that even if you don't flip, you'd be taking in water at the transom
  21. Chartreuse was never a good color for me...One day my son wanted to use one after I told him that the color was a totally useless and unproductive color. He went on to absolutely obliterate me using one even after I switched ... can't tell these kids anything nowadays
  22. Hahaha If the air leak is at the top of the windshield then water could roll off the roof, into the roof/windshield intersection and could wick back into the headliner. It then builds up and drips as the case with my son’s car. But it sounds like you’ve may have ruled that out and I don’t have a visual of the location of water on the on the floor board. Sorry I wasn’t a help here
  23. No, but I am interested. I do like round reels for some reason and Daiwa reels. Maybe it’s because I learned in a round reels. I’ll be keeping an eye out on this one. My season won’t start for a few months
