I fished a little bit yesterday in a mud hole with 1 inch of visibility . Caught two three lbers with a black skirted spinnerbait and single willow in copper .

Black spinnerbait with a copper blade . Colorado or willow . I like copper because it doesnt flash as brightly so the bass is more likely to hit the black silhouette lure .

I have an Assassin . The first one I had to send back because it didnt work from the get go . I've been pleased with the replacement . It has performed admirably for about four years now . I have four Piscifun Phantoms that work great . One of them has started to make some noise . I think it has a malfunctioning centrifugal brake . I turned the brakes down from four to two and it seems to do better . I'll know for sure next time I go fishing .

Take a spinnerbait and jig or Texas rigs , one rod and your all set .

47 acres , I would put the trolling motor down and fish the whole thing . Sounds like there is a lot of cover . Texas rigs , jigs , spinnerbaits and buzzbaits are my favorite around lay downs and lily pads .

Some of the water around here is Chocolate milk muddy right now . So I made my favorite chocolate milk spinnerbait this morning .

This just relates to me . When I'm casting a lure underhanded or a roll cast , The lure weight is critical . To heavy it is launched to the right of target . To light to the left . My 7 foot mh moderte/fast spinnerbait rod for example , the sweet-spot is a 1/2 ounce lure . If casting overhand and not for accuracy , a wider range of weights can be used but with low trajectory and precision casting, the weight has to be exact . Its the difference between catching a few bass or a few dozen .

I avoid rivers when they are high , muddy and swift .

It happens . Dont like it , but often it works out for the better .

I carry one rod and a few lures that work with that rod and the place I'm fishing, often just one lure . When bank fishing or wading I want mobility .

I have caught about 120 bass this year , all but four on a spinnerbait . I have given jigs and Texas rigs a fair shot , they have not produced . To early for buzzbaits , cranks will not work where I've been fishing . Jerkbait , zero .

I like them both equally . I think rivers are easier to pattern .

I was sent a lot of bowling gear by mistake . I contacted the company told them I 'd return it but they were responsible for 100 per cent of the cost . They instructed me to keep it .
