My dad lives 10 min from there. We fish it a fair amount. It def has some solid fish in it. That fish has taken advantage of some of the bait fish that use the fish ladder. A few years ago i got my dad a big swimbait for the big bass there and he got a 38" rock fish at the boat ramp at night. He thought a foul hooked a beaver lol. I know some of the locals use big live bait this time of year for big bass too.

New DE state record caught. 11.10lb I have fished that pond like 100x and caught some good ones but nothing over 6lbs.

I have thrown together some that I can not wait to fish for just over half the cost of off the rack. The lower cost is good, but the color combinations is what does it for me. My color choices everytime I pick one up. With everything out there to make it easy on the non pourer why not?

Made 50 jigs, taken care of plastics, picked up 7 spinnerbaits, picked up hooks, tungsten, cleaned all my reels, cleaned all my guides, turned two full grip 0mens into split grip, looked at maps, read articles and reviews, anything I can do to get through to spring.

Slow down, jig,shakey head,senko,texas rigged worm or bug of some sort. Feel the bottom for transitions in composition. On the bank keep trying your reaction baits, off the bank feel the bottom and work slow.

Its a bit off topic but on that thinking try taking the back hook off your favorite popper and tie 12 to 18" of FC to a bluegill color clouser fly. Its normally a salt water thing but when bass see that following the top water disturbance it puts em on automatic eat. Especially when they will boil on the popper but will not take it.

I had problems with the underspin blade fouling in the skirt with a similar lure i threw together. It was fixed by triming the skirt which left it short for my liking. Good luck with yours, looks good.
