Favorite spinnerbaits?
Don't have a favorite, but I do prefer a flexible wire. Picked up the Damiki TOT type 2; hopefully it has a nice vibe.

Tatula X review... The Tatula 100/Elite is over!!
I saw the Tat X at BPS. Appears to be a Tat 100 without the dimple in the thumb rest, and has 2 less bearings for $149 vs $199. Not bad

Latest,Rods & Reels Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Picked up a dozen A2's. 6 6.8's and 6 5.6's. Butter smooth...remind me of the old Chronarch 100a. They will be used for heavier baits with resistance. They aren't show trucks, they're boat pulling trucks 👍.

What do you consider as the most comfy baitcaster to palm of all time?
13 Fishing Concept series for me too. Interested to see what Rapala/VMC does with that line of reels. I do need a Steez CT to try.

clear coat
Here is AI's answer... To remove dried clear coat from a graphite fishing rod, gently scrape it with a razor blade, plastic scraper, or your fingernails. For stubborn residue, use 800-1000 grit wet sandpaper, acetone, or a red Scotch-Brite pad to lightly abrade the finish. Always use light pressure to avoid damaging the graphite fibers. Best Methods for Removing Clear Coat Plastic Scraper or Razor Blade: Carefully scrape the dried, flaking clear coat, especially effective if it is already peeling. Acetone or MEK: Apply acetone to a rag or cotton swab and rub the area to soften and remove epoxy-based coatings. Acetone is safe for graphite blanks. Wet Sanding: Use 800-grit to 1000-grit wet sandpaper for a controlled removal of the coating. Heat Gun: Apply gentle heat for 4-10 seconds to soften the epoxy before peeling it off. Scotch-Brite Pad: Use a red automotive Scotch-Brite pad to gently remove the finish. Facebook +6 Tips for Success Protect the blank: Do not apply excessive pressure when scraping to prevent scratching the underlying graphite blank. Test first: Try peeling the finish with your fingernail before resorting to sharper tools. Refinishing: After stripping, you can apply a new coat, such as exterior polyurethane, for protection.

What pound P-Line Floroclear on your casting reel?
Did you know that Pline CXX is also fluorocarbon coated? CXX advertises a 'tough coating' that is indeed fluorocarbon. I used fluorclear some 20 years ago, but moved to CXX for less stretch and more abrasion resistance.

G. Loomis IMX Pro 893C JWR
The '26 IMX-PRO is so new I don't know of anyone that has one.

G. Loomis IMX Pro 893C JWR
The 893 is a great spinnerbait rod. The imx-pro spinnerbait model (812c) is an XF rod like the 893.

favorite large worm
Since the Culprit is getting mentioned- are you rigging it correctly? The company illustrates it right on the package. You are supposed to rig the hook in the side of the worm...the side with the tail bend.

The tat 100 and SV are smaller than the Zillion and palm better. Zillion has a couple extra bearings and a better spool.- Tournament Defense
