Have you ever counted your lures?
I have the square route of a sheetload.

Fluorocarbon what do you use?
Pline tactical. I still have several spools from the BOGO sale tackle warehouse had a couple years ago. Going to order some hi-viz fuoros to try out....looking at sunline sniper BMS (the pink/orange) and Applaud crystal fluoro in crawfish blue

Baitcaster under $300? (new or used)
How the reel fits in your hand while mounted on a rod is important to me. If you have a big fishing retailer nearby, I'd go get my hands on a couple frames.

Concept z reel
Didn't know TT did a review of this reel, and now I'm feeling better about my purchase. Cal and company over at TT are definitely not 13 fanboys http://tackletour.com/review13fishingconceptzreel.html

Concept z reel
Resurrecting this thread. I just purchased a few of these art the closeout price of $129 from dick's. I have 2 concept A's in the lower gear that I purchased in '14 that haven't given me any problems, and I needed a few reels for my upcoming BFL on Grand. I purchased from dicks so if something is awry when they get here, I can return them. If they are solid, I'll drop KP spools in them.

Rapala X-rap Subwalk
Well....I must pick up this 'sub-walk'. I won a club tourney the first time I used an a-rap...maybe I can duplicate that with the sub-walk.

When do you take hard baits out of their package?
Being an OCD plagued person myself, I appreciate the hook guards, I just can't get in the habit of using them. I organize my boxes similarly; I sort my cranks by depth, and then by color. I have a shallow 'shad' and shalliw 'chartreuse', with my chartreuse boxes containing all brightly colored baits, not just chartreuse. Shad boxes have natural craw patterns as well, with the bright craw patterns going in the chartreuse box. I also use the 3701 slim boxes....my non-boater bag went from holding 5-6 3700's to 9 3701's.

Original Zoom Worm Comeback?
I just wish they would hand pour some baits in a few styles, so we can experience the baits that made them famous. Same with gene larew. I want the old super soft plastics that tear easily but have a sheet load of action. How good a day you had used to be determined by how many bags of worms you went through.

- 6 ft. pistol grip
They have a 6'm pistol grip lightning rod at bass pro. I picked it up and played around with it when I visited. Felt great to whip around and do a roll cast with.- Show off your Stuff
Aggressive looking rig...I dig it. I had the old school steez 6-3mh years ago and it was a blast to fish. I recently picked up a 6-10h glorious I'm excited to try as well. I love working baits on shorter rods...you have more agility.- 2020 Shimano Metanium Thread
Digitaka is forcing buyers to use paypal, where you receive a horrible exchange rate, or pay a 5% CC processing fee. I'm getting ready to order a couple of reels, and am looking at going with Japan Lure Shop or JPangler, which are also great sites I've ordered from before. They just dont seem to get the stock digitaka does.- Best spinning rod under $500...expride, g. loomis...
I picked up one of these new tatulas (6'6"m) last year for jerkbaits/flukes and have been surprised at its performance. Really a crisp blank, and the handle is so comfy I think I'm going to pick up the 7'6" mml.- IMX-PRO 904C MBR for lighter flipping and pitching?
For sure. Everyone should own a 4 and 3 power mbr.- The latest sale thread
Several st. Croix rods at 40+% off at sierra trading post. https://www.sierra.com/s~stdotdot-croix/- Show off your Stuff
I'll make that happen sson. I have pets that love cork, so I'm waiting to take off the wrappers until I'm done screwing around with them in my living room. New rods need to hang out in the living room for a couple of weeks if it's the off season. You never know when you'll feel the need to whip it around and annoy your wife. It's time though...I'm thinking I can fish tomorrow before the OU game, so I'll snap a few then.- Show off your Stuff
I finally pulled the trigger on a pair of poison glorious rods, and was so blown away by several things. I thought if I had the money I'd order 2 more and have a glorious winter. Well, a girlfriends bday led me to the casino that weekend for a bday dinner, and it turned out to be my lucky night. Ordered 2 more the next day from jdm tackle haven (first 2 from ebay). Its probably unhealthy how good it feels to just hold and look at these rods, but that's the nature of the disease.- Crank Bait Rod Wish List
Black friday is 20% I've learned to do all my shopping then.- Gloomis rod that might double as frog, pitching, heavy crank
The 844 is one of my favorite blanks in any loomis line, but I have eyeballed that 884 and in this case it gets my vote- Concept Z reels
That's a great deal. I have a couple of concept A's with KP spools I enjoy using. My only complaint on my 13 reels is having to remove the sideplate for braking adjustments.- Ultimate heavy cover 6 inch senko rod
I'll never disagree with an 844 loomis recommendation. I use the 844 for beavers on a 3/16oz head on up to frogs. I do see that the conquest 844 doesnt have the usual 1/4-1oz rating of the glx/imx, but instead shows a 3/8-1oz rating.- Show off your Stuff
Is that a met dc? How do you like it? - 6 ft. pistol grip
