  1. Even though I dont fish braid regularly, the new hollow braids have me intrigued. You would think not needing to tie a knot would be a game changer.
  2. I have two edge 7'MH black widow rods I purchased back in '16. They are built with NFC IM blanks. They are good blanks, but I'd like to upgrade them to the new lmx-xray's. I know this can be done, just curious about the labor cost on top of blank price. Maybe the builder could take the IM blanks as a partial payment.
  3. I'd definitely pick up a few at 59 cents.
  4. Still can't believe a staple like that was taken from us! ?
  5. My brother gifted me a delta series 7-2" ml for my birthday last week. He apparently liked the first strike rod I gave him a few years back. This delta series has an lmx blank, which has apparently been updated. I have an old (2016) first strike rod with an lmx blank, and this 'new' lmx seems to be wrapped and has a heavy texture. Old lmx on the left...
  6. The early bird gets the worm, but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.
  7. I'd pick up the $99 lowrider and call it a day.
  8. Nice fish...and shirt
  9. Glad to see the power jig....still have an original. I hope they still have the integrated rattle. $10?! They were $5 in 2002, which I thought was high at the time.
  10. Nice rig. Your reel looks like a high-end pencil sharpener.
  11. Americans are more likely to pay more for a well marketed brand. Megabass and Gloomis rods are marked up $180-$240 in the U.S. versus Japan (P5/concuest). Are the Japanese savvier shoppers?
  12. I'm a Pline man, so I'd choose CXX in chatreuse. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/P-Line_CXX_Fluorescent_Green/descpage-PLFG.html
  13. I have two Zpi'd Steez sv tw's, so I would add 2 KTF tuned Steez CT's to match if i could. Here are my Zpi Sv's...one with an 'M' spool and the other with a 'PG' spool. I need 2 of these...
  14. The only thing that sticks out would be a M or ML mod fast rod (1/4-5/? for throwing jerkbsits/topwaters/small cranks. One of my most used rods.

Im newer to the ned, but charlie brewers slider worm has been a staple for look over 25 years for me. Not sure why the slider never became a tackle box staple like the ned is now.
  16. In threads about line memory and using KVD 'line and lure'; I try to put the word out that KVD spray is simply quick detail spray that is found in the automotive section. 16oz of Megiars is $4.97 versus $19.99 for 16oz of KVD. You can even step up your game and go with the new quick detailers with nano ceramic tech...which according to them will leave a ceramic coating on your line. https://www.amazon.com/Turtle-Wax-53409-Solutions-Coating-16/dp/B07XYPS3PS/ref=asc_df_B07XYPS3PS/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=385435208149&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5733890240403285281&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026545&hvtargid=pla-840505364135&psc=1&tag=&ref=&adgrpid=80126920938&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvadid=385435208149&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=5733890240403285281&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9026545&hvtargid=pla-840505364135
  17. Me too. When looking up knob brarings a couple years ago, I noticed they were the same size as the RC10 bearings. I used to have an rc10T truck I raced as a kid.
  18. You'd think fish only see the underside. I use black, frog and shad.
  19. Plus, if someone is on your fishing spot, you could wrestle them.
  20. Never tried it. I do miss Berkley power jigs and the frenzy divers.
  21. Hard to buy one in Japan at the moment as well. Digitaka's site has been down for over a week, and Japan Lure Shop is sold out of most spinning reels it seems. You will have to surf the Asian Portal or go with Amazon Japan.
  22. Lol...haven"t seen Mr. Bean in a minute.
