Anyone tried KVD's Line & Lure Conditioner?
Line and lure is quick detailer. I prefer meguiars or the turtle wax ice quick detailer. If you like reel magic, you can save money by just buying food grade silicone spray they use on molds. Also better and cheaper.

Scorpion DC vs Curado DC
Thanks. Trying to research the two myself. Havent owned a shimano since the mg50. Back then they didn't have all these trademarked 'improvements'. Well not as many anyway. Is the 5 setting dc system known to be better than the 4 setting version?

Scorpion DC vs Curado DC
From reading the TT review of each, it appears the scorpion dc has a brass main gear, while the curado dc comes with the micro module (aluminum) gearing.

Cold muddy conditions
I'm also going to slow roll a spinnerbait. One with a flo red kicker blade just kills it around here.

For the Antares Fans
I'm sure that dog will hunt, but I wish shimano and daiwa would put a nice coat of paint followed by a coat of clear on their higher end reels. These thin one-step jobs they do aren't durable at all.

Best telescoping rod? (Not multipiece)
Probably the glx flippin rod available from around '95-2002. Hard to find...

Expride or zodias
I'd probably go with the expride a just for its cork handle and good looks ?

He could score an endurance right now at the TW sale for about $120. Just ordered a couple of the crankers.

Fishing with craws in a pond that doesn't have craws?
Bass will stalk and kill anything they perceive as a potential meal....natural forage or not. My cats attacking paper wads kind of reminds me of this.

Comparing Some Jig Rods
I'd get a Phoenix feather. I dont own one, but the reviews are great, they are sharp looking, crazy light, and Phoenix makes great rods. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Phenix_Feather_Casting_Rods/descpage-PFBC.html

Phenix Recon Elite PHX-C796H for Glide Baits up to 2 1/2 oz - Reel/Line Suggestions?
I'd probably put one of zillion hd reels in it. Or a tatula 150 for more conservative budget.

Great rods that get no love
Great rods, but I'm not sure you could say they dont get any love. I hear them praised quite s bit... a lot of dudes were dismayed when they discontinued them. The power hump is gone? That's s shame. That was their trademark...and comfy.

Looking for the *perfect* jig
The Berkley power jig was the perfect jig IMO. I was really sad when they discontinued it. I havent seen a jig made since with the rattle built into the head. And the powerbait skirt was the shizz as well.

Great rods that get no love
Ive got some gen 1 villains I really like....light and sensitive. The reel seat looks a little weird and flexes... but its comfy. Tackle Tour is definitely giving the 2.0 version some love.

New Dropshot Rod (Steez AGS?)
I bet there are some folks over at tackle tour that could help.

Powell endurance crank rod reviews
I've been considering an endurance cranker among others. Sure seems hard to decide on crankbait rod these days. That endurance looks sharp for sure.

Ri small beaver
Beaver style baits large and small will catch d**n near everything that swims. Most popular ways to rig it are texas rig and as a jig trailer. Try darker colors for stained or dirty water, and the more translucent colors for clearer water.

G. Loomis 853/854 vs 893/894
People are just using longer rods in general these days, but for all around 7'-7'3" is what I would choose. I'd go with the 873 Crig rod if you are wanting something for mainly 3/8-1/2 with occasional 1/4oz....it is similar to a croix MH. Even works well for frogs. 853/893 if you are mainly going lighter...
