  1. RW- I saw the coverage on last nights news and they had an interview with Snood. He said that he has a new song on his cd that features some country artists and inspired by Johnny Cash
  2. I had the exact problem last fall with my Revo S. I called Abu Garcia and described the problem and they sent a new brake and 6 new weights
  3. The good thing about that pretty LC going for sale is that you could write off that 75%
  4. They canceled it due to high winds. 25 mph at take off time and expected to be higher.
  5. I said it's GREAT. TO BE. A TENNESSEE VOL!
  6. My three picks are 1) Mark Davis. He's my favorite elite angler and he had a consistent showing on Falcon. Fishing Post Spawn his is strength and they say Falcon will set up nicely for him. 2) Byron Velvick. It's his new home lake. He owns a lodge on the lake. He's having a good year. 3) Ish Monroe. He won here 2 years ago and he'll be looking for revenge on Elias.
  7. Good choice you guys won't be disappointed
  8. I have been looking a little towards the Falcon Cara T7 Reaction Deep Runner. I was looking for a rod over 7' for the same purposes that Burley mentioned. Not really wanting a 7'6" though. The Deep Runner is a 7'3" MH power Mod Slow action rod at a good price point. Still haven't made up my mind though. Thanks for the input so far guys

Great looking baits Marty. No luck this past weekend. Post-frontal with a lot of rain made the water very muddy. I'll try again the next couple of weekends. You'll have some pics soon
  10. Looking to get a rod specifically for deep cranking. In particular, DD22s, DT16s, Mann's 20+ and some custom deep cranks.
  11. There's nothing you can really do to prevent it while fishing but when in storage, you can purchase hook bonnets to place over your trebles so they don't scratch your finish.
  12. From the right ups, Mark Davis' strength is supposed to be catching post-spawn fish. His weights have been the most consistent, no 40+ sack to jump out front but they better watch out for him tomorrow. I think Martens and Byron's spot is drying up
  13. Medium Rare for me...I think there's a lot more flavor that way
  14. FishChris-if you ever win one of those fancy bass rigs...contact me first. I'd love to take it off your hands for half price ;D
  15. A Chicago-style hot dog is a steamed or boiled all-beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun, which originated in the U.S. city of Chicago, Illinois. The hot dog is topped with mustard, onion, sweet pickle relish (usually neon green), a dill pickle spear, tomato slices or wedges, sport peppers, and a dash of celery salt; but never ketchup.[1][2][3] The complete assembly is sometimes called "dragged through the garden" because of the unique combination of condiments. It is taboo to put ketchup on a Chicago hot dog; some hot dog stands don't even stock the condiment. Taken directly from good ol' wikipedia
  16. FishChris...shame on you I can say however, that I actually knew who you were talking about :-/
  17. It's tough to say. Alton Jones and Steve Kennedy will be at the top for sure though. What do you guys think about Byron V.'s comments about somebody catching a 5 fish sack this week weighing 52lbs?
  18. Hey JFork, glad to see you found us here man. Hopefully I'll see you out on the water at one of these tournaments one day. Braden
  19. St. Croix offers their Premeir model in a 7' M MF glass rod which will run you about $100

I received my first baits from Marty today (the top 3, 1st pic). I can't say enough about them. The colors are amazing and the finish is something. He's great to work with and will work with you on your colors. If you like throwing a crank I strongly recommend giving Marty a try.
  21. Sorry Dave, I assumed it was a brand or something. I took all the art classes my high school offered and we never discussed it. Pretty neat how it was originally made with egg yolk...
  22. Count me and my boat in guys! Home lake for my first ever trip...YES!!!
  23. Kyle, I'll be honest with you man. We pay out of pocket for a LOT. You can go to some local businesses and present them with a well thought out advertising/partnership offer. Also, fund raisers man. As the weather warms up do car washes. Hold small tournaments on some smaller lakes. Be creative with it man. Money can be had in different places, you've just got to work at it man.
  24. We have our club tournament there this weekend. I'll be there Saturday pre-fishing so keep a look out.
  25. Mark Davis is the only pro I've actually encountered and he was great to hang out with. He not only wanted to talk about fishing, which he knows a lot about, but wanted to know about me in general. Like we were old friends reuniting.
