Due to illness, one of my room-mates had to drop out of the Bass Resource trip to Lake Guntersville during the week of March 23rd. If anyone is interested in filling the empty bed please PM me. If you don't have a boat, don't worry. There are plenty of empty seats available, including the one in my boat.

Not really, I tend to doze most of the time, but the other drivers seem to come out of nowhere.

Just wanted to rub it in a little for you folks what live in ice land. I live in Tulsa. The lakes are ice free, but still in the mid-forties. So ... On Thursday, March, 6 I will be towing my boat to Caney Creek Reservoir in Louisiana to fish with my cajun friends. It's one of the four lunker lakes in Louisiana and is a slot lake. I will be retuning on Tuesday, March 11. On Thursday, March 13, I depart for Lake Fork to fish my first tournament with a my fishing buddy. Returning on Sunday the 16th. On Friday, March 22, I will be towing my boat to Lake Guntersville to fish with all of the Bass Resource folks. Returning on Saturday the 29th. If I do not catch at least one 10lb bass on any of these trophy lakes I will hang my head in shame and come crawling back to this board to ask for your understanding and forgiveness.

Bad news folks. Fishfordollars, one of my room-mates and my potential G'ville mentor, has been placed in a head/neck halo for the next six to eight weeks. That means he has screws embedded in his skull to hold him perfectly rigid. It also means that he will not make it it G'ville, so we will have one less boat available. Fishfordollars' departure also leaves an empty bed available for anyone interested in sharing 1/3 the cost of a room for the week.

Well, if you are so excited about such a trivial issue. the best I can say is ATTABOY STEVE !!!!!

Buy your TM batteries from Wal-Mart, and keep your receipt. If your battery craps out there's always a Wally-World somewhere near-by.

Go figure. No problems today. Same cordless mouse, same batteries, same board.

Is anyone else having problems with their scroll wheel on this site? I can use the page up/down bar just fine, but every time I try to use the scroll wheel the page completely locks up and I have no other alternative but to close the application via Task Manager. I have tried the same scrolling process on five other sites with no problems.

Let us not forget that this is the "Everything Else" board. It's where all the BS takes place. If one visits the other boards, one will find that the "Elitists" help out whenever possible. This board is not the place to evaluate the contributions of the more senior members.

How about a big tattoo that says "I like to deface my body?"

Some posts have a plastic grommet at the bottom that makes them difficult to remove easily. You really have to give it a tug to remove it. I got so tired of mine that I cut off the grommet with a hacksaw.

Up until today I've never paid much attention to my number of posts. Can we win prizes?

I'm 6'3." When I graduated from high school, I weighed 165. When I graduated from college, I weighed 185. From that point on, my weight has pretty much stabilized at around 200, but depending on the time of year (winter, summer) my weight will easily swing fifteen pounds up or down. It all takes place in my belly.

I know, my Dad was fighting there. Thank providence that he came home alive. Otherwise, I would have never existed.
