I don’t know how they calculate that. He came thru the opens when he left BPT

Ike also refused a legends exemption and qualified for the elite series thru the opens. Like him or not, he’s really good
  4. Love that reel , I would have too
  5. I’m allergic to bees but it seems to be getting better as I age. I weedeated up a nest of yellow jackets in the ground last summer and got 16-20 stings , only one of my hands got really big and numbish, weird thing was they didn’t sting me on the hand. When I was 8 I got into a hornets nest and got stung several times and then went way into the backcountry wade fishing . The reaction didn’t hit until we were in the middle of nowhere and my cousin had to carry me out the last bit and drive me to the hospital where I fainted
  6. I used to wash golf carts back when I was 17, there was ALWAYS a yellow jacket in every empty beer or Coke can.

You don’t have to win an elite to qualify, granted Gerald has won 2 AOY titles
  8. I do a Stanley pour over my wife bought me for camping. Works in the kitchen too
  9. Interesting stuff. I hear a lot of pros say fish won’t show up on live if they are glued to the bottom, maybe those are the ones that aren’t near bait ?
  10. Keep it going! Although we already know you will (my legs hurt just watching those first sets with the chain)

Wow, that’s one heck of a field! I’m hoping to see powroznik win one this year
  12. It’s good work if you can get it
  13. Cousins has been benched for penix jr, only a $100,000,000 bench warmer
  14. My buddy’s kids got a fishing magnet and no rod/reel we tried would stick to it. The kids got it stuck to the deck of a riding lawn mower and their dad had to wail on it with a sledgehammer to get it free I have seen people snag rod/reels with rattle traps and also a metal clamp stringer with all the clamps open, might be worth a try
  15. Our big dog stepped out of the boat to chase some geese once. She initially sank , but then popped up and started swimming toward the geese. I couldn’t stop laughing and my wife was like “chase her down with the the trolling motor!” I was thinking more like , hey, she wanted to go for a swim, let her paddle around a bit so I was on low speed going after her. Wife is getting madder, I wasn’t sure why. She then explained if the dog ever hit dry land we would never catch her 😂 . I kind of forgot about that part, she was lightning fast back in those days
  16. My wedding ring is priceless so I leave it at home and wear a groove ring from ace hardware. They have a lifetime warranty, I ripped one and got free replacement
  17. My wife was like “how did you lose it already” I says well I’ve lived 30 however many years and never worn a ring, first day is a little tricky
  18. I also lost my wedding ring in the platte river in NW Michigan the day after my wedding. It was my late father’s ring……. Luckily I looked down and it was right in-between my two feet! Haha. Still got it, and it’s resized this is only possible in the clear waters of Michigan, it would still be underwater if I did that in the TN river
  19. Cool thing about a dam, you can measure the water temp below it and above it. In the fall all the way until spring time, many of our highland reservoirs will be the same temp from top to bottom. In the summer, it can be 80 degrees on top and 40 degrees on the bottom Temp stratification is also fairly non existent on the main stem TN river lakes in winter due to constant flow
