  1. I've been using a Daiwa Tatula 100 6.3 on my cranking rod and really like it. On sale at Sportsman's outfitters.
  2. Yes i know. The Tracker Topper in the post title is 36 inches at the bottom. Bass Raider is 50.
  3. The Bass Raider will be more stable than a Jon Boat. I’d also recommend using a trailer for whichever boat you decide to get.
  4. Kvd line conditioner works well for cleaning screens.
  5. I'm very happy with my 7' 1"
  6. Definitely the LTB is the better of the 2. E6X is more comparable to St Croix Mojo Bass IMO.
  7. You will like the Tatula SV. I have 2 of them and they are by far my favorite reels. Smackdown is good braid but I think 20 lb is too light for a baitcaster. It has the same diameter as 6 lb mono. I personally would use at least 40 lb.
  8. I would look on Ebay for your reel. They can be bought new for a lot less than Cabelas. Are you sure that rod has micro guides? I have the 7' 1 mh/f Mojo and it has normal size guides.
  9. The HDI transducer is 2d and DI.
  10. If you’re not worried about using side scan the HDI transducer is what you want. They make a TM mount for the Totalscan but I think it only works with Trolling motors that are big enough to mount it on.

Berkley Power worms T-rigged have caught a lot of bass for me over the years.
  12. I’d recommend a Daiwa Tatula, on sale at Sportsman’s Outfitters. IMO, Way better than any other rod in your price range.
  13. P-Line tactical is flourocarbon line, not a Copoly. What size were you using? I use the 12lb and find it to be very strong line.
  14. I use the Berkley scale. Has worked well for the past year. I check the accuracy with a gallon of water which weighs 8.34 lbs.
  15. Have you tried tapping on it with a hammer?
  16. I’m pretty sure that’s a Doyo made reel so actually it’s a Lews with a Daiwa badge on it.
  17. I prefer Live Targets as well. They don’t hang up in the pads as much as the Pad Crashers.
  18. I’ve caught a lot more on a ribbontail.
  19. Group 29 Everstart Maxx is around $100 at Walmart. Good battery too. I’m going on my 4th year with mine.
  20. Megabass Vision 110 is the most expensive lure I’ve ever bought. Bought a Jackhammer a few weeks ago and only took 20 minutes to lose it so it got replaced with a Project Z.
  21. I really like my Helium 3. Light and sensitive.
  22. There are a lot of idiots out there with a lack of respect for others and a lack of common sense. I was working my way down a bank today and a boat comes between me and the bank running his big motor. He could clearly see that I was casting towards the bank and there was plenty of room behind me.Then he stops 50 or 60 yards ahead of me and drops his anchor. I was furious and it took everything in me not to say something but I just moved on to another spot.
