  1. I caught a 6" bass on a 6" lizard.
  2. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  3. If I had to choose only one it would be a spinnerbait. I have caught far more fish on a spinnerbait than a chatterbait. I do think chatterbait might be a better choice in murky water.
  4. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  5. A couple of years ago we went out to eat at a well known restaurant. We finally got seated after waiting a while. Then nobody would come take our order. We got up to leave and walk past a some servers standing around talking. I told them we were going somewhere to eat that we could get some service. They just said okay. Sometime later we went to another location of this same restaurant. We got our order taken then after almost 30 minutes I went to the manager and told him we had not gotten our food. Seems our server never turned our order in and went off duty right after that. We ended up getting our food for free that night and we haven't been back to them. They definitely lost some customers.
  6. The Zoom Super Hog is the toughest of the ones I have tried.
  7. My wife and I both did some cutting on my hair. I wasn't so bad I had to wear a hat or go in to hiding but it was far from a professional haircut.
  8. Today I was finally able to get out and go to a real hair cutting establishment. First real haircut I've had since February. It feels good and I look like part of the human race again. After getting the haircut got lunch out. Went on a scouting mission after lunch and found a lake I had heard about but never been to. It is a small lake and idle speed only but it is about 30 minutes from home. I hope to give it a shot and fish it one day next week.
  9. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  10. I have broken some that I only lost 2" or 3" at the tip and I was able to fix them With new tips. I did break a spinning rod several years ago. I got hung up and was trying to get my bait loose. I didn't think I had much pressure on it but it broke just above the stripper guide. Got to go buy a new one to replace it.
  11. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  12. I have not tried or heard of doing this. I have some Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed worms and I still fish them like a standard Texas rig most of the time.
  13. Is this box a 3600 or 3700 size?
  14. For me it is probably crankbaits but I am not as bad about it as I used to be. I still love them and they are still the first thing I use 99% of the time.
  15. It was a 6" purple worm. Probably made by Creme or Culprit. I can't remember if it was all purple or had the red fire tail. I had both colors at the time. My dad never new about working them slowly on the bottom. He would cast and retrieve them like a crankbait and still caught quite a few on them.
  16. While fishing one day I heard a splash over by the bank. I didn't sound like a fish splash so I kept on fishing. A minute later I heard it again. I looked over and saw a water snake come out on to the bank with a small catfish in its mouth.
  17. We also have a Toyota plant about 25 or 30 miles from me here in Ky. I am surprised he has had that much trouble with his Hyundai. We have an 09 Santa Fe that has been very good.

  19. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  20. I had a couple of them years ago. Never caught one on them. I couldn't even get a fish to look at them. They probably got thrown away.
  21. I use right handed reels in both baitcasting and spinning reels. I cast right handed and then switch the rod to my left hand and reel right handed. That is how I learned to fish and it has never bothered me switching hands with the rod.
  22. I have a little experience with carpentry and painting. I would much rather do carpentry work any day. I hate all the clean up process when painting is done for the day.
  23. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  24. I have cooked hamburgers and steaks on the grill. If people ask me fix them something inside I have one question for them. Do you want your peanut butter sandwich creamy or crunchy?
