All kinds of issues with E-85 in vehicles not specifically rated to use it - so unless the motor/engine is specifically rated to use E-85, steer clear of it unless you want to have to rebuild it. https://www.cnet.com/roadshow/news/e85-what-is-the-cheaper-gas-alternative-and-can-your-car-use-it/- What device do you use to browse the forum?
The only thing(s) I have that are Micro-snert is the OS on my desktop and netbook For office-suite - Libre on the Windows machines, Android Open Office on the phone & tablet...both totally compatible with MS-Office.- Favorite fishing knot
MK knot - use it for all terminal attachments. More wraps for braid, less for mono/FC. Thicker the line, the more wraps.- Siebert Outdoors
Yep - I've got a few of his jigs and when I need to order more, that'll be the first place I stop. As an aside... Fishmas 2020, my recipient got a selection of Mike's jigs and some trailers Fishmas 2021 I couldn't do that...Mike was my recipient.- Death by Ned
Didn't we have this 'discussion' a couple years ago...using the exact same vid as the 'instigation'?- Can I take the shine off?
Especially if you catch a few Esox without losing the lure...- What device do you use to browse the forum?
I would think that it's Keri's chair...you're the one doing coffee refills while she 'controls the world'.- Anyone else a metalhead?
Replace 'opera' with 'country' and that's me...ya, I like some opera Back in college - I was assistant stage manager for the production of 'Susannah'...kinda coerced into it by a friend who's minor was theater and was stage manager for it. I actually enjoyed my time doing that.- What device do you use to browse the forum?
Four devices 6 year old Power-Spec Desktop running Windows 7-Pro 12 year old HP Mini-110 Netbook running Windows 7-Pro 4 year old 8" Galaxy Tab-A 2 year old Galaxy A-51 phone. I have no plans on moving away from Win-7 - so I maintain my desktop and netbook...just got a new battery for the Netbook last month in fact. My two Galaxy items are solid, dependable, and easy to use. I run Firefox on all four, and have a Mozilla account that syncs my bookmarks and logins across them.- Auto repairs...
I must have had one of the exceptions then. The '84 AMC 2-door Cherokee I owned was rock solid...regular maintenance was all it needed for the 5 years I had it (1993-1998). Finally gave it up when the hinge plates on the passenger side rusted enough for the door to fall off. That's when I got the 1998 WT-1500 - the only new vehicle I've ever owned...had 32 miles on the odometer when I picked it up.- Minimum acceptable drag pressure
That 18# was with oil-felt - I've replaced that with carbon-fiber, so the top end has probably gone up.- Minimum acceptable drag pressure
Ya - it's like my Mitchell Avocet spinners - who the heck is gonna lock down 18# of drag on a spinning reel that's loaded with 8# test line?- Minimum acceptable drag pressure
Not familiar with the model...is it a small or BFS reel?- Minimum acceptable drag pressure
Considering I've got most of my reels set in the 3#-5# range for drag to start the day - 8.8# max seems like enough to me...I don't think I've ever cranked them down to more than that. That does exclude my pitch/punch rig...but the reel on that maxes out at 11# A couple of the reels I use (spinners) max out at 9# anyway.- A clever way to browse these forums
Top of the page Far as bookmarks - since I use Firefox on all my devices (desktop, netbook, phone, tablet) I have the bookmarks/logins synced so I when I add/delete/change something on one device, it propagates automatically to the others.- A clever way to browse these forums
I just created a custom stream using the options Items Only, Topics, Unread, Past 1 Week, Newest First. Then bookmarked that....- what is your drop-shot worm of choice?
Zoom Finesse Worm - Green Pumpkin, Red Shad or Junebug Red depending on light/clarity conditions.- The Bait Monkey
- Broken Rods
I wasn't worried about these two - the spinning was a 1st gen Ugly Stick, the casting was an ancient Berkley Enforcer.- Broken Rods
I use a couple broken ones (1 spin, 1 cast) for spooling line on reels...that way I don't have to 'fight' a 7'+ rod in my workspace.- Please help I.D. this animal
Body build isn't right for a Coyote I'm in agreement that it's a fox who's had a rough time lately...mange would account for this.- 74 and Hope for so much more....
Happy B-Day, man. As Andy said - give yourself a treat today, even if it's a small one. Keeping you and Dee in my thoughts during this rough patch...- Am I alone?
I've had a number of friends over the years, but life happened and because of the home situation we've drifted apart. I have gone and done things with work friends, things my non-work friends weren't interested in. I think my favorite work-friend outing was a concert I went to. My work friend, Coffi with his sister and fiance during intermission. Me with the girls.- Your worst fishing habit
'Parking' in a spot that looks like it should be productive... then spending way too much time to prove that 'yes, there are fish here'...tossing everything, including the kitchen sink, to try and entice a bite. - Vehicle Gas Mileage
