the humble split shot sinker.
If you knew how many times WG's been cited here for illegally dumping waste, and violating OSHA health and safety standards....you'd be like me and avoid them at all costs. This despite the fact that I normally try to buy from MN businesses - WG is one of the exceptions.

I'll give it a week...maybe two...then his jeans will be back to 'normal'.

BassU video service
I had a 90-day free trial - canceled before I had to make a payment. Interesting, but you can get all that info for free elsewhere if you're patient and search correctly.

Talk about a recovery
In 2015, singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell suffered a brain aneurysm that left her unable to talk or walk, much less play guitar. This past weekend at the Newport Folk Festival - fans were shocked and elated.

Bassmaster Open Results Question
Some of them might have withdrawn or been disqualified. Boat problems are another possible issue.

Trolling motor battery selector
Since the negative doesn't go through the switch - it's a parallel connection.

Fishing tournamnet gone wrong ?
It's up around 5' - resorts are closing because their docks are underwater, Warroad won't know the damage to the lake-side bike path until the water receeds and they can assess. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/northland-outdoors/extreme-high-water-levels-continue-to-cause-problems-on-lake-of-the-woods-and-other-border-waters This week in 2021 gage height was around 58.7' - https://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/usa/nwis/uv/?cb_00045=on&cb_00065=on&cb_63160=on&format=gif_default&site_no=05140520&period=&begin_date=2021-07-18&end_date=2021-07-25 This week in 2022 gage height is around 63.2' - https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?05140520

I lost two fish today, and I'm not 100% sure what to do differently
Also, despite you seeing Pros swinging big bass into the boat with their rods - that's a good way to break a rod. Even a 3# bass could be too much. Get a net - always use it.

Just an observation.
They keep hitting the Mississippi up here - when are they going to return to Mille Lacs?

Surface Rust
I do - but it doesn't listen "You're gonna catch me a keeper...right..." (hour later) "You are worthless!" Get some Silica Gel Packs and toss them in to a spare compartment in each box - that'll help keep the rust away.

Trolling motor battery selector
That's a typical issue - to take advantage of parallel wiring, both batteries should be identical...even down to the same (or VERY close) purchase date. I don't see an issue with wiring them up that way...just make sure the switch is set to OFF when charging.

My little fishing trip
Make sure to get two things. 1: Larger memory card - the 32gb cards will only hold about 3 hours of video...but most of the cameras will support larger cards despite what it says in the instructions. The Dragon Touch models I have say 32gb max...but I run 128gb cards in them with no issues. 2: External battery - you only get about 1.5hrs of time max from the internal battery, so you'll be changing batteries constantly. Either connect to the battery in your canoe (if you have one) via USB port, or get a portable battery. For my mounted cameras, I hooked to the TM battery on the old canoe, and now to the 'house' battery on the boat. For the shoulder/head/chest cam I have a 10,000MaH that slips into a pocket. Ya, there's a cable from the battery to the cam, but 12hrs of power is worth it.

So many mentions - so little acknowledgement.

Navionics Smart phone app.?
In the app, yes...at least it should...does on my Galaxy when my GPS is turned on. Whole point of the app - shows your location on the contour map so you can tell exactly where you are in relation to the structure.

Does anyone else find prepping their tackle box oddly satisfying and supergluing plastics to jig heads therapeutic?
For me it's the age factor kicking in.

OCD? I use my P-Touch to not only label the outside of the boxes, but the compartments themselves as well. While two cranks from different manufacturers may have the same weight and running depth - since they are 'different', they each get their own labeled compartment.

Is it fall yet? Ready for some football.
- Is it fall yet? Ready for some football.
Oh wow is them... I reiterate - they're ALL overpaid...even the 'low paid' NHL guys.- Is it fall yet? Ready for some football.
Ya - right... https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/pay-salary/nhl-average-salary What is the average salary for an NHL player? The average salary for an NHL player is $2.69 million per year as of the 2019/2020 season, although that can vary a great deal across different teams and individual players. The team that pays the lowest average salary in the NHL is the Toronto Maple Leafs, with an average of $1.54 million per year. What is the minimum salary in the NHL? As of the 2019/2020 season, the minimum salary for hockey players in the NHL was $650,000 per year. I would have loved to make 1/10 of what their minimum is - even in IT, my highest salary was 55k.- Is it fall yet? Ready for some football.
Meh Pro Sports = bunch of overpaid whingers.- Lew's and Doyo
No, but the Childre family DID license the Lews name to Browning in 1989 "Over the 40-year-period from 1949 to when the Childre family licensed the Lew’s brand to Browning® in 1989, the family-run business had made many major contributions that would change forever the face of recreational sport fishing." https://www.lews.com/en/learn/our-story And a pic of a Browning-Lews rod.- It's fricking HOT!
You just deal with it. Winter, you can always put more clothes on - layering DOES help. Summer - there are days I don't go outside at all, cause you can't take off enough...yes, even going beyond propriety doesn't help.- It's fricking HOT!
More than that in MN, buddy We've hit a standing air high of 101 here....January 1 the high was +1 ...so 100 degree difference this year. Reminds me of one Yule we went to visit the in-laws. Air temp was -25 when we left Minneapolis/St. Paul International that morning. When we landed in Ft Lauderdale-Hollywood, it was 85...110 degree difference in 5 hours.- Why a Kayak?
Ya, anchor trolleys are 'Da Bomb'. Had one on my canoe and it was great. - Is it fall yet? Ready for some football.
