A little DIY work
Latest project - still in process. What's left to do is build the steering assembly, mount the handle, route controls and electrical and build the coupler ball support...but at least it's recognizable as a dolly now - or what will become one.

Thanks to the BR community!
Having moderated FB groups and Use-Net groups in the ancient past, I know how far down some people can go. That I've actually made friends here - even if only Virtual - speaks highly of the class of people we have here. The wealth of knowledge freely shared is also an eye opener. BR Members Rock That is all.

Intestinal blockage
Great news, Tommy. You just take it easy for now, heal up, and those bayou bass will be eager to attack your lures when you can get out again.

This I can confirm - at just over 6' I'm above average, and having met Gim - he's a bit taller than I am.

What’s the best flourocarbon that’s not super expensive?
Another vote for InvizX - I've tried a couple others and keep coming back to it.

Reels on AliExpress??
I don't know about Ali - but the price they quote on Digitaka is what I pay...no taxes, no shipping charges for rods and reels, no import fees.

Favorite Medium Light Fast Spinning Rod
Prior generation St Croix Mojo Bass - handled the new Trigons at my local store and did NOT like them. I prefer an XF rod for finesse applications and the 6'10" ML/XF was a great addition. Secondary rod is actually the St Croix Panfish - the 7'3" ML/XF I picked up has also proven to be a winner in my arsenal.

15 or 20lb Braid on 2500 Nasci?
Either pound test but 8 strand all the way - my three Miravel 2500s have 20#, 15# and 10# 832 on them - all based on what techniques I'm using them for.

Northern first bass guess
I can believe the streams down there are open...just hope he's following the rules - C&R only on stream trout until April 12

What do you buy more often, new or used reels?
Fixed that for you.

What do you buy more often, new or used reels?
De[ends on the reel - most of mine are new - but usually purchased JDM for under US prices, the exceptions are the few Pflueger Patriarchs I've gotten in Excellent condition on the used market...all for under 1/2 retail price.

How many constant amps does my 36 or 40 amp charger draw
They do tell you - a 36v8a charger draws 288 watts of power (36x8)...if it's only 50% efficient, then it needs 576 watts. Divide by 120v for the outlet - and it's max draw from the house is 4.8amps of house current. They are rated - my NOCO has different modes - flooded (standard car battery), AGM (also for Gel-Cells) and Lithium. unless your charger is rated for the battery type your using, you can cause damage to the battery that's NOT covered by warranty.

How many constant amps does my 36 or 40 amp charger draw
Except NOCO is a US company that designs their chargers in Ohio....made over in Asia, but US engineered. Dakota Lithium's main manufacturing facility is in Grand Forks, ND, USA.

How many constant amps does my 36 or 40 amp charger draw
I'm running a 12v 5x2 - 10 amps total into two banks of 5 amps each. Outlet it plugs into is connected to a 30amp breaker on the main panel. There's other items on that run - lights in the hobby room, outlet for the airbrush compressor, soldering station, Dremel station - but I've yet to trip that breaker...though not everything is run at the same time. How much does it pull? 10 amps at initial charge, dropping to 1-2 amps when the battery is full and it's on maintenance mode. Note that a 36v battery needs a 36v charger - NOCO has that, but it's industrial rated and comes in at $600. I'd go with the Dakota Lithium charger - 36v, 8 amps, will charge up a 100ah battery in 12 hours from full discharge (a rare occurrence) for $199. Lithium chargers, like batteries, aren't cheap if you want quality...I wouldn't 'settle' for one of those under $100 chargers from Amazon - don't know what kind of damage they'll do to a BMS.

If you're going Lithium do NOT go cheap on the charger...get the best you can spring for. NOCO comes to mind for me - it's the only brand I'll put on the boat.

We got dumped on - between 4" and 12" depending on where in the Metro you lived...and it's the heavy, wet, heart-attack inducing stuff.

No more fishing license for me!
MN may have one of the cheaper licenses - $25/year - but they make you pay in other ways. I won't be eligible to 'fish for free' for another 25 years...and I'm 65 now. Yep, 90 is the age where you don't pay anymore.

best spinning for drop shot around 100-150 cad
I would suggest the Shimano Miravel - but in Canadian dollars it's around $190, while I've paid as little as $97 American, So - Shimano Nasci at around $145 CAD - I have one and while it's not as smooth as my Miravels or Ultegra, it's not a bad reel.
