  1. Switch to an in-line hook. The gap of the inline book should be the same as any two of the treble hook points. The in-line hook will look big. If in doubt ask Google for a conversion chart
  2. I’m sure other methods work but the Car Guys is easy to use. It’s better than Rain X on the windows. Use the product that works for you
  3. Get some Car Guys Hybrid wax from Amazon. It’s easy on, easy off. No hard rubbing. You don’t need to use very much. Follow the directions on the bottle. Put 2-3’coats on your vehicle , windows too, and the sap will come off easily when you wash the car. It works. I.use it often enough to buy the gallon container
  4. If your batteries die, you can still manually lift the Ulterra out of the water. You have to remove a couple of pins, but you need to carry tools to do it
  5. I’d rather have the knot cinched up against the hook to minimize any movement between the line and hook. YMMV
  6. Practice using the airbrush. You don’t need to pull the trigger all the way back. Learn how to use your finger to control the amount of paint that comes out of the brush. Dropping too low in pressure will make it hard to use a lot of paints, even with the trigger pulled all the way back. Check out some airbrush tutorials on YouTube. Buy some cheap white plastic spoons from the Dollar Tree to practice on. Good luck and have fun
  7. That would be illegal in California, three hook limit
  8. Thanks, it’s been awhile since I broke a rod
  9. There might be, but I don’t know if any company that will give a person a free replacement for user error. GLoomis will replace a rod with no questions for $100. Warranty rods need to be sent to them to be examined. Maybe Lews has something similar
  10. 5” plastic paddle tail swim bait on a 3/4 oz head or a lipless crank bait
  11. I’ve had to use as much as 50-60 psi with some of the Createx paints, even after they’ve been thinned. I’ve never had to thin ComArt paints and spray them with 26-30 psi. Most taxidermy paints don’t need thinning either. Check out Matsuka taxidermy
  12. Tanquery for me. Get a small frozen limeade. Follow the instructions to mix it and add one container of Tanquery and some ice cubes in a blender.
  13. Check your kill switch. I was in a friend’s boat and had a similar experience. The motor turned over but wouldn’t start. After several tries, he got out of the drivers seat to check the motor. I looked over and saw that the kill switched wasn’t hooked up. Reinstalled it and wer were good.
  14. I replace the trebles with an inline, not circle, hook. One big hook is better than 3 small ones. If your going to use an online book, find a conversion chart so you use the correct size. The link below will help you https://www.saltstrong.com/articles/choose-right-size-inline-hooks-replace-treble-hooks/
  15. If you guys want a change of pace, make ceviche. It’s easy to make and can be put in tacos too
  16. I vertical fish a lot. I’ve been on top of fish in 15’ of water and caught them. If they even aware of the sonar it doesn’t Look like it affects them. YMMV
  17. Replace the treble hooks with inline hooks.. Problem solved
  18. Get a bottle of over the counter 5 mg Melatonin. It will help you sleep
  19. I’d take the front hook off and replace the tiny tail treble with an inline hook
  20. I use the biggest split ring that will still let the lure swing freely.
  21. I’m using it’s cousin
  22. I would think the biggest obstacle would be getting a COA for any item. A boat would probably be the easiest, if you had a picture of the angler fishing in his boat, with the CF numbers showing. I doubt many people would pay big bucks for something just because the seller said it was valuable.
  23. How are you using them? They look a lot heavier than a traditional blade
  24. In my experience, the gunfish attracts smaller fish. Maybe because it doesn’t throw as much water. YMMV
