  1. i'd probably stick to the top hook version for now. the rod is rated for 1 3/4 oz. so i think i'll be able to get away with throwing a 2oz. bait
  2. i'd probably throw it on my 7'6 tatula elite heavy flipping stick until i get an actual swimbait rod
  3. the deluxe 68 has the 8" tail size on the 6" size swimbait. anyone have experience with both that could offer some insight and pro's/con's to both?
  4. super tight weight's outside of the top 10 - tomorrow is going to be a rollercoaster i can't wait to see how it plays out!
  5. hackney with a nice day
  6. getting my butt absolutely kicked this week!
  7. google earth is great for finding ponds. if it is a large lake that i am not familiar with and has boat or kayak access, i use both google earth and navionics web app (https://webapp.navionics.com/#boating@6&key=wjmzFfhr}L) for an in depth sonar chart for channel swings, points, flats, etc.
  8. good selection of stuff at the warehouse of tackle
  9. man, last tournaments lineup would have been looking good for me this tournament ?
  10. with how well fishing line has been developed over the years, i truly don't think broomsticks are needed anymore.
  11. scott martin just lost a giant the second he grabbed his line to land the fish. why do these guys grab their line to try to land fish? i honestly don't get it. makes me CRINGE. edit: same thing happened last tournament, i can't remember who it was
  12. i couldn't imagine sacrificing 3-4 hours of fishing in an 8 hour tournament
  13. pretty unnecessary. marketing ploy, but to each their own!
  14. shadow rap or 6th sense provoke. spend a few more bucks and look into the jackall rerange
  15. they always have plenty of BPS t shirts and hoodies though. that store is the worst
  16. welcome from your fellow northeastern state connecticut!
  17. hello and welcome. as always, thank you for your service!
  18. i throw the jr. version on a standard 7’3 heavy action rod and it gets smoked! awesome bait especially if you’re trying to get into bigger swimbaits and glide baits
  19. i’d be more than happy to fish for 8 hours and catch one twelve pounder
  20. drop shot and a ned rig ?
  21. it's happening to a lot of fisheries around the whole country. it's ridiculous the amount of vegetation they want to kill. all the pleasure boaters around here complain about the grass
  22. big difference between yesterday and today weight wise. blue bird skies and slick calm water seems to be killing the bite
