Jerk Bait Jig - What is it?
Unweighted Elaztech tubes make great ultralight surface lures. The ones Strike King made were the best.

Lithium prices
A-Jay, you have good reason to eventually replace your charger with another of the same. Might be a good idea to ask others with a more recent version how it has performed for them; sometimes the old are better than the new.

Polarized Fishing Sunglasses
From experience, low quality frames will deteriorate from sweat, sun, and spf. The frames will crack and lenses will fall out.

Lithium prices
I have the very same 4 bank charger as A-Jay, got it in 2020. It has been replaced twice and sent back to the mfg. twice for repair. Different brand next time. A friend has the Power Pole Charger, both he and my marina say it was a big mistake.

Lithium prices
I overheard some conversation at my marina that Lithiums will not charge in temps. below 29 degrees. Anyone else hear that?

PSA - Trash while on the water
I have found dead birds wrapped in fishing line, nowhere near any water. When I discard line, be it mine or not, I always cut it into very small pieces before placing it in the trash.

Kill switch law
Very good idea; I will begin doing that.

Fishing gear storage drawers
I don't fly fish, but this week accidentally stumbled across an extensive fly fishing store which was selling out to the bare floors (nasty divorce scored again). I had been unaware of many of the specialized storage and display components used as compared to a typical tackle shop. I filled my 8 ft. pickup bed twice, at a total cost of $145. Examples are "drawer cabinets $20, nearly 200 slatwall hooks $9, stackable storage bins .10 cents each, 28 Plano lure boxes .25 cents each, 100 yd. leader material, thinner and stronger than anything from Sunline and Seaguar for 60% off", the list goes on. I already had installed vinyl slatwall in my man cave, 7 feet high and 35 feet in length, adding self made and painted 10 inch shelves. Just visit some fly fishing shops to see what space saving fixtures they use and we don't ordinarily see. I also highly recommend vinyl slatwall over the wooden variety and pegboard.

How many of you troll?
Your interpretation of my comment is wrong, very wrong. No doubt there are anglers who believe that buying high end equipment will guarantee them success. I belong to the group that knows their targeted fish and have preferred methods of pursuit and presentation. We select our tackle to suit, and if we are fortunate to afford quality products, chances are we have earned the privilege.

How many of you troll?
I do not spend $800 for a rod and reel combo so I can troll from my bass boat.
-
How many of you troll?
Drifting while casting is not trolling.
-
Roboworm Color
Mine too, but for Trout in the White River I use the Sculpin color.

How many of you troll?
Yep, and Yeppers.

How many of you troll?
Trollin' is borin', and unethical to this totally committed Bass Fisherman.

Other Hobbies
My life is boring by most standards, but it is what I have chosen. I became single again 35 years ago and definitely will remain so. Living alone in the Ozarks I fish Bull Shoals and the White River, work with my Border Collie, go to the gym, and tinker endlessly with my fishing tackle. Can't complain. BTW, I escaped from Illinois, a good place to be from.

Very good pickin'. By chance did you play in "Deliverance"?

Musky Lures
Aren't most Muskies caught when fishing for other species?

AMP TROLLING MOTOR LEVELING WEDGE
I've seen some discussion about the AMP trolling motor wedge, but have yet to see one in use. I have a Vexus VX21 with a Ghost trolling motor, and the AMP distributor told me 100% of Vexus bass boats should be using their 5% wedge. Do any of you have experience with one?

What state and locale do you live in. Possibly this forum has experienced members living near you who may be happy to take a look.

As I Get Older…
Getting older and colder means more clothing layers and gloves/mittens. It also means going to the bathroom more often; what a pain that is.

What Fishing Gimmick Did You Fall For?
Disagree.

What Fishing Gimmick Did You Fall For?
I agree with most Live Target baits, but I have a box full of their Bluegill crankbaits which have worked well for me. Different colors, finishes, and diving depths.

Pedestal Bow Seats
I talked to my Local Vexus dealer; he has ordered a Springfield for me to try out. He also has a nearby source who will custom make something similar for me.
