  1. I am partial to the Midwest finesse mold. If toy don’t like the keepers a bit of super glue gel and it sticks to anything. I’ve used from #2 to #1/0 in mine. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Do-it_Jig_Mold_Midwest_Finesse_Jigs/descpage-DMMFJ.html
  2. When I bought my Z20 I had been to the Ranger dealer 3 miles down the road. I thought I had a deal made on the Ranger. It didn’t turn out the way I hoped. They held fast on their msrp and offered me 25% below trade value on my Champion. The Nitro dealer was below msrp and gave me $6,000 more for my boat. The Nitro was $21,000 lower than the Ranger.
  3. I don’t normally carry rods in the truck, however, yesterday I met a friend to go fishing in his boat. I had a 6’, 6 1/2’, 7’, and a 7 1/2’ riding shotgun and it was fine.
  4. Thank you. My wife saw it and insisted that I buy it. Then she said it didn’t look good behind my white truck. I was told to go find a red one.
  5. They used to be low grade and didn’t hold up. Things have changed. Evidently Johnny Morris made some changes a few years ago. I have a Nitro Z20 that is pushing 7 years old. It is holding up well.
  6. Experiment with wire angles.
  7. Totally awesome from Dollar General is a very good cheap cleaner.
  8. You might want to research first. When he redid Wonders of World it took 7 years.
  9. Have you looked at Atwood, Springfield or Overton’s?
  10. It may be possible. I don’t have those but I do have several different Shimano spinning reels and the handles are interchangeable.
  11. If you spin a hub (I have) you can still idle back to your truck. You just can’t power load.
  12. In the winter I fish Table Rock in SW MO. The water temp usually stays in the mid to upper 40s. I go up river or into large creeks where the water isn’t deeper that about 40 feet. I almost always use several baits but the best for the last few years has been Plastisol worms from Strike King and Zman. Yesterday I caught 16 bass on them rigged weedless shaky with a Midwest finesse head and a VMC EWG 2/0 hook.
  13. It is good that you have the skills to take care of that stuff. I don’t. I depend on a friend who works at the local dealership. When he says something needs replaced I say ok.
  14. I use the yellow ones. They don’t mark my boat. They are good for about 200 power loads.
  15. I used to do that all the time until I could afford to not do it. Now I require a paved ramp and a courtesy dock thank you very much.
  16. Jig trailer sometimes but mostly Texas
  17. That looks like a new rig. Congrats.
  18. Why do you take the key out? I never have.
  19. I’d make two recommendations. The Ulterra and Millennium seats. I had to go to the Ulterra because of broken ribs that didn’t heal properly. I just added the seat for comfort and safety.
  20. I certainly hope so. I suffered through the bad times when Lamar Hunt brought in has been quarterbacks who couldn’t win. His son has turned the franchise around by being willing to spend money and bring in quality people.
  21. I don’t know if there is a fix. Skeeters have that reputation. I’ve never been in one that didn’t porpoise.
  22. It’s been years since Super Bowl halftime has been entertaining, to say nothing about the commercials.
  23. Don’t fool around with safety features. There wouldn’t be a second cable if it weren’t necessary.
  24. Yes I have one that came from a shop in Wichita. I think it was called a ripper. I believe it is a Do-It product.
