What is your culling strategy?
I use the Ardent smart cull tags as well. I weigh each fish when they come in the boat until I get 5 then I weigh them if I think they are close enough to move up. If not I toss them back and continue on my day. Usaully within 2 ounces I'll use the cull beam because I have a berkley scake which usually gets me accurate within 2 ounces but just to make sure I put em on the beam. The only difference I have modified my beam with a set of fish grips on each end instead of hanging by the cull tags.

Fish smell on hands
I was gonna say rubbing alcohol does it too. Even get the same burn from the cuts!

Hag's Hurricane Bladed Jig
Oh you mean the one that rhymes with Crack Jammer?

For the Caffeine Shad do you prefer the Owner Twistlock or Gammy EWG?
Looks like I am one of the few that doesn't use either. I use an Owner cutting point 4/0 offset worm hook.

You've only got two eyes...
I have transition bifocals. They are my poly and act as my sunglasses and i wear them 24-7 since I am blinder than a bat without them.

Randleman Lake NC
Cool I did not know that. I fish one tournament a year there and I thought the DNR ramp on Adams farm road was the only one it had. NC Wildlife lets us fish our tournament on a tuesday when the lake is closed so we are the only ones out there.

What Is This Box For?
definitely appears like a mount so you don't have to drill through the hull to mount a transducer but I'm not boat designer and I did not stay at a holiday inn express last night either.

First American fish
I would love have the opportunity to catch some Murray Cod and some Barramundi.

when out fishing. you ever see someone filming for youtube?
Around here pretty much every kayak and bass boat has a gopro strapped to it. I don't see people actually talking to it but filming for sure. Heck my boat and kayak both have a navstick with a gopro perched on top of it. I don't have a channel that I make videos for I just like reliving catches I get on video

Bladed jigs are a thing of the past.
Right now I believe he only makes them in 3/8 oz.

Fisher wins Bassmaster Kayak at Tenkiller!
Congrats to Kristine Fisher on her win at Lake Tenkiller in the Bassmaster Kayak series! She is such a great ambassador for the sport! https://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_123/kayak-tenkiller-6125.html

Bladed jigs are a thing of the past.
Yes it acts alot like a spinnerbait.

Bladed jigs are a thing of the past.
Not that I can tell. I haven't had any issue with the blade blowing the lure out of the mouth on hookset. You could add a trailer hook if that became an issue but like I said I haven't seen it.

Bladed jigs are a thing of the past.
Exactly like a spinner bait does. It handles alot more like a spinnerbait than a bladed jig if you ask me.

Post a photo a day!

Bladed jigs are a thing of the past.
For me at least. The Battlebaits, Brigade blade is such an awesome little hybrid spinner/bladed jig. I absolutely LOVE fishing this thing. It so fun I don't even mind when I don't catch a fish. I just like to watch it come through the water. The only problem is that Mr. Battlebaits is pretty much a one man show and getting these much less anything else from him these days is like finding hen's teeth due to his recent popularity I assume. Lets hear about your more obscure lures that absolutely catch fish for you but may not be the most popular or mainstream.

Best Spotted Bass lakes
Jocassee is just so deep its a bit intimidating to a bank beater like me 😁. Keowee is where I take the family when we take the tube out and Hartwell is where I fish. It's a pretty amazing little slice of the Great smokies with three awesome lakes right there next to each other but also don't discount Russell. I've caught some fat ones out of there just the same as Hartwell and Keowee.

White bass, one of my favorites
First fish I ever caught was a white bass on a white beetlespin. Second fish I ever caught was a white bass on a .25 oz. orange rattletrap. The white bass have been eradicated from the lake I grew up on by the stripers. Makes me sad.

Beetle Spins
I always keep a handful of beetlespins in my tray but I only fish the whites ones with the red dot on the back.

I get excited about a new lure and want to share, but....
I'm always pleased to see anyone off here catching good fish. As I've gotten older I get just as much joy out of watching others succeed as myself. Another way of saying that is that I live vicariously through you guys because i suck! 😂

What to do if you dunk a reel?
I just keep using it and clean it up when I get home. Unless it's dunked for a prolonged period of time I don't usually take it apart.

"Big" bass
Anything I catch that's bigger than the lure I'm throwing is a lunker to me!

New ned bait mold.
How much for a bag of GP and Junebug? 😁

Where have you bass fished?
KY, VA, NC, SC, TN, IN, OH, GA. AL, CA, FL, WV, DE, MD, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Spain, Italy, and finally Mexico. Technically the overseas locations was from the United States Navy Aircraft Carrier George Washington CVN 73 while anchored in ports of those countries so I guess that counts?

Popular lures/equipment that you don’t like - and vice versa
Not a big fan of chatterbaits. I can use them and use them fairly well but I hate fishing them for some reason. Not a big fan of Drop shotting. I hate drop shotting so bad I can even spell drop shotting. LOL Not a big fan of Shimano The sound an SLX DC reel makes when you cast it is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It literally makes my skin crawl.
