  1. Cheaper, and easier to manage (much more limp).
  2. Much better then 3 for $8-$30 :
  3. And this is why your dad is a genius. I just gave most of the heads away that I just ordered from you, so expect another order. All my buddies steal them!
  4. The earliest he will get out is 20 months if he is on his best behavior. He will be back in the NFL no doubt about it, whether or not he'll play for the falcons, or even as a QB remains unknown. But as long as HE wants to play, a team WILL want him. He's an amazing all around athlete and could easily be a #1 or #2 reciever, running back, or defensive back, if no one wants him as a QB. Regardless to what many will say, I would LOVE to see him back in the NFL, but as a matured adult, not as a child. If he can over come this, and do some serious growing up in jail, it would be great to see. I do not agree with what he did, and he sure as hell deserves those 23 months in prison, but people do make mistakes, and as long as you learn from them, there's something positive to come from it.
  5. If I'm not mistaken, 22 of the top 25 biggest Large mouth bass caught in the USA were caught in California. 2 being caught in Florida, 1 being caught in Georgia.
  6. I do know I spooled it on properly, BUT to my knowledge I never tried to troll it and do that. I have high hopes that it will work, as you have been right on just about everything else. I will throw this out there, to anyone looking to try another line. Cuda line for the price, is unbeatable. I've have it on 4 of my rods right now and am quite satisfied.
  7. Rw, because you've never steering me in the wrong direction, I will this weekend re - spool 2 rods with my Ultra Soft #6 on spinning on both. I will do what you said, and fish them for the entire day. I sure hope this works!
  8. Shaky head and jigs are pretty much the only two baits I throw, and I've purchased just about every brand shaky head jig head on the market. By FAR the best I've found are the *** ones. No need to strain your eyes attempting to screw something into the head of the worm, and no more worm slipping off the hook or far down the hook. I haven't noticed a big difference in Fish Catching from them compared to others, but I have noticed I fish a lot more and spend a lot less time getting aggravated.
  9. I've had a ton of trouble with memory with ultra soft. I have purchased 4-6 different spools in #6 and #12, not one spool was any better then the other. Not sure what in the world it could be... The #12 doesn't bother me, because it's on my BC and memory doens't bother me much with BC, but spinning, eh it's no better then a couple other lines on the market imo.
  10. 12Lb Cuda Line 12Lb P-Line Cx 10lb XT 12lb Suffix Elite all great lines
  11. Best bet would be to go talk to people already fishing the lakes you're going to fish. Regardless from what bait to use, asking where some "hot spots" are would be very beneficial. I'm sure they will also tell you what the hot bait is at that time.
  12. I thought we weren't going to tell anyone about these javallons ;D Guess the secrets out :
  13. I don't think fish are necessarily becoming smart and getting used to senkos. It's more the seasons and how bass are feeding. Most of the Senko threads and the Senko hype seem to be around spring/early summer. They work GREAT at these times, but then winter and such when the temps are much colder and the fish are deeper, there are so many other baits to be thrown that work as well if not better. I fished a senko exclusively for a month or two, now I don't even have one tied on 90% of the time.
  14. I like Mono over braid as well. I also like fluorocarbon though. XT mono and invizx fluoro.
  15. Be more descriptive on a price range.
  16. I refuse to fish a jig that's not hand tied, with a round rubber skirt, therefor, I only fish hand tied jigs. The rubber band crap just doesn't cut it.
  17. Matt, I'm glad to see you got the minnows out and what a success they already are. TW will get an order shortly.
  18. Have them send you a GLoomis IMX rod ;D
  19. Get a scale!!!
  20. Shimano Stradic 2500 on sale for $97 at reeds I believe and dicks. Shimano Citica 100DSV if you have small hands and want to palm it with ease, or the 200 if that's not an issue. both are incredible reels, and by far the best for the price. I wouldn't mess with daiwa if it's under $150 or $200 .
  21. I have a MBR844C GLX and so does RW. I was about to get an IMX as well the other day but cannot financially now afford it. It's a GREAT rod and I'm sure you'll be plenty happy. It's my go to jig rod. I got mine for $300 though
  22. Just get a rod already ! If you can only spend $170 I'd say get the powell. If you can spend $220 get a IMX loomis rod.
  23. Citica 100DSV if you have smaller hands, or Citica 200 if you have bigger hands. Both can be had for $100. By far best deal for $100.
  24. Speaking from experience, the longer you wait, the harder it is to go back. I'm 20, I've been out of school for 2 years, this will be my 3rd year. I have finally quit my job, and will be attempting to go back to school in January. It's tough. I'd say, go to community college and take 2-3 classes. You won't have to work too hard, and you can still fish, that way you're not completely out of the cycle.
  25. Redlinerobert, the devil that he is, is trying to talk me into a Zillion, and he might have very well done so. If I don't get the Zillion, I will probably get the Advantage supertuned, but I need to go hold one in my hand first, and make sure it's not too wide. I've heard the same thing you said about it being wide.
