Managed to snag a few Catching Concepts redwood cranks. Pictures really don't do the paint jobs justice.

I really like that top left Craw colored one. Where can I get one?

Went to Academy and Dick's to check out kayaks. Ended up with a Magellan branded kayak PFD for $40 and two Whopper Ploppers 110s for $9.99 each plus 10% first responder discount. Still on the hunt for a kayak. Think I'm just going to save for a NuCanoe. Buy once cry once.

As far as I know they are sold through Carolina Crankbaits but when they are released they are gone within minutes. I don't do facebook but the maker, Catching Concepts, has a facebook page, he might sell some through that also, not sure. These are very highly sought-after baits and don't last long.

I got sidetracked and completely forgot about the last batch he posted up until it was too late, kicking myself for that one

These Paul Krew minnows are beautiful, smoke purple and the April mystery color. I was gonna wait until I used up some of my dropshot bait supply before ordering but the monkey talked me out of that plan

He released Lil Hermies (pictured) and some deep divers on the same day and then a few days later he released some round bill baits he announced through youtube. I didn't get in on that one but he's trying to mix things up a little. It's crazy how fast they go.

Hmmm, I see an old school 110 with the round eye. That's a collectable.

I had no clue. lol

Not technically a purchase or even tackle, but still pretty freakin cool!  A close friend of my wife has a brother in law that works for CBS.  He gets all kind of gifts and swag from different shows.  His wife sent me some crazy stuff from MLF!  Signed jersey and hat from KVD and a signed hat from Edwin Evers!  Fantastic mancave additions!

I can't help myself when I see War Eagle copper blades for sale. And chartreuse skirts are a favorite, of mine and the fish. Too bad there were only 5.

The Pickerel around here keep retiring my dark sleepers so I stocked up. These Beast Coast Miyagi Swimmers caught my eye. Grabbed a pack in Pro Ghost Alewife. The locals pronounce Alewife "El-why".

We have a few lakes with them where they're spawning, so I have high hopes. The Dope Gill looks dope. Hitch patterns get bit so I had to have those too.

Well, I previously posted a pic of 5 new War Eagle copper spinnerbaits.

Then I was paid another visit by the monkey. He whispered in my ear, "Buy more copper blades, they're discontinued. Get more of the clear copper peach skirts. And different sizes, too."

Then the little beggar stole my credit card and went wild.

But then he started ordering new outfits. You can't trust the bait monkey !!!!!!!

At least he has good taste in spinnerbaits, those copper bladed War Eagles are one of my favorites.

Academy is as well. They have the Pelican Catch 100 for $699 plus a $100 gift card. If I can get them to match Rural King's price of $599. That would sweeten the deal.

Reposting this in the correct place!  Sorry for the confusion.

I got a couple Dark Sleepers last fall and developed a lot of confidence in them this spring fishing Lake St. Clair with its large goby population.

These are knock off Dark Sleepers from Ali Express.  I thought for the price they were worth a try, at least.  The quality seems decent although definitely not as nice as the genuine MB lures.  But with the MB being sold out most places and hard to come by, these will have to do.  I didn't want to have to go all spring/summer without these as an option!

2 Savage Gear walking baits

assorted bags of soft plastics

KastKing sun protection fishing gloves

Neko rig Tackle (new technique I'm gonna try this season)

3 Rod Gloves... GMan Approved lol

Zeko boat sneaks

garmin Echomap Plus 73CV

Turning Point Prop

New Tidewater boat trailer

A box of classics that made a detour to our old house. Thankfully, the new owners are honest enough to try to find out who they belonged to and they eventually made it to me.

The bait monkey was feeling a little generous today.  A co worker stopped to grab a rod that was laying on the road pass some train tracks that everyone was driving around.  A 7'10" Quantum Tour KVD cranking setup is the bonus for being known as the guy who fishes.  A little road rash on the butt and reel but functionally sound.

Pretty good idea to which lake it was heading to so I plan on spending some time on fbook and will swing by the nearest tackle shop to see if the owner is looking for it.

Good on you at looking for the owner. Maybe you'll be rewarded with a new combo.

Yeah, I think that might be the one I lost... yeah, that's it...

Picked up a Daiwa Tatula 100, 3 Booyah pad crashers, 12lb sniper FC, and 65lb 832 braid.
