@Dangerfield  I havent used the larger size TRD but figured Id give them a try for the price.

I like using the Outcast Tackle Perfect Ned Head wit the Big TRD. It has a little longer shank on it.

You ever try it with the Giant TRD?

I have not. I've fished the Giant TRD on shaky heads tho which works great.

Which isn't a shakey head just a bigger and often weedless version of a ned rig?

A shaky head is essentially a weedless jig worm that far predates a poop (ned) rig.

Far too much to post. Lol.

I got 5 new reels, 4 new rods, Huk, Daiwa, and Columbia fishing clothing, bibs and rain jacket, and a whole pile of baits and terminal tackle.

Oh, and lithium batteries for my trolling motor. Lol

I take it the ned rig is right up there with the carolina rig for you?

It's great if you like catching perch.

I'll take any of them over the carolina rig!

I was thinking of the ones that have a screw lock on the jig head that you screw the worm onto then texpose the hook.

Monkey got me again… I am a sucker for smaller size jerkbaits, and I can’t wait to see how these LC Pointer 78SP’s stack up against my personal gold standard for small jerkbaits which is the Duo Realis Rozante 77SP

Feeding my new tackle addiction, making spinnerbaits. A solid Barlows order to get me through the summer. Since the first couple of spinnerbaits I made worked well, I decided I would go a little more all in;)

Other than picking up some of the jig head paint and random small store purchases I hope this is my last order of the year.

Edited to add the 1/4 ounce smallie spinnerbait I already put together.

I've got some Big Bite Baits Shorty Gamakatsu EWG Head and Z-Man Texas eye jigs to test out first.

Those outcast jigs look good, do they come weedless?

---

Browsing the local classified I found this baby for sale ~$25 USD shipped. Probably going to spool it with some 10lb FC Sniper when the bite gets tough.

These pics are a mix of my TW order and the Tackle Supply Depot sale and my siebert outdoors order. I also received my 6’6 M Abu Vendetta rod(not pictured). Mostly soft plastics minus the jigs. I can’t wait to try the awesome @Siebert Outdoors jigs!! I got the gridiron package in 3/8 and they look amazing!! The stove top pic was the tackle supply depot order and it has some Karl’s plastics and 10,000 Fishing plastics that I didn’t realize I put there.

Scheels and part of an Omnia order came in. I don't need most of it but I am excited to finally get the Albino Pearl Magdrafts and the Bait Fuel. I also picked up some Sunline Shooter Finesse Special and some Depps soft plastic but it will be next week before they arrive. 20220428_214656.thumb.jpg.fbb395f18e32f71b1bd2f4118f2a3ffe.jpg

One last haul, as the kids call it, before the local bass season starts. This should keep the monkey quiet till May 15th.

You should know that when he's quiet, he's plotting...not a good thing.

Been trying to hold off from ordering those magdrafts from Scheels because I don't need to spend the money right now.  Broke off another wicked wacky hook last night and figured I should order more today while they're on sale.  Go to order and now the albino colors are out of stock in the freestyle.  Kicking myself now!

In my original post on the sale I didn't mention the color on purpose.  I was hoping it would give people a chance to order. The last time I saw them on line the Hook Up Tackle had them in stock and they sold out in minutes.  They told me they were bought by bots that they can't control. As soon as the color showed up the orders started coming in.
