I'm gonna miss her- Brad Paisly

  • Without a doubt the Classic winner, Casey Ashley"s  (The Fisherman Song).  If you don't get fired up about bass fishing after hearing his song, there is something wrong with you.  If you haven't heard

  • theme from Jaws? da dum, da dum

It's ALIVE!!!!! An almost 2 year old thread has been resurrected. Eh, since its back....my 2 favorites are the theme song to Zona's Awesome Fishing Show and SpongeBob Squarepants theme.

Amen brother

Goin Ike. Very catchy, and contemporary. An old childhood friend of mine wrote that song. He actually just released a second record, all about fishing.

Fish by Craig Campbell

My favorite is a odd one:

Hookin them lips by Drastikk

Casey Ashley's song is my favorite, but this one is pretty good too.

Andy Griffith Show

The Fishin' Hole

that little combo on the Timmy Horton Show aint half bad. not a fan of the Strike King Fish Hard sound these days.

Not a big fan of country, but I do like listening to occasional rap/hip hop.  You have been warned :D

This is my favorite fishing theme song. Come on, Come on we're going Ike!

Honorable mention to Roland Martin's Great American Fisherman as well.

OK... Very cool that Casey Ashley recorded that song, and has the talent to pull it off -with some serious backup help. Awesome to see.

When the sun came up this morning

I took the time to watch it rise

And as the beauty struck the darkness from the skies

I thought how small and unimportant

All my troubles seemed to be

And how lucky another day belonged to me

Today is mine

I think this was Bill Dance's song when I was a kid. I'm not sure if it was the Glen Campbell or Jerry Reid version, condensed. But it's fitting poetry.

He's just like a Gypsy, mighty hard to hold.

I have no clue what that means, but Roland's song is my favorite.
