@bishoptf The stores all seem to handle these sales differently in person too. At my local DSG strike king/rapala/whatever brand is currently b3g3 will just ring up 50% off, doesn't matter if you buy 1 or 6.

Yup I've never had any issue at the store either but we only have one store left that has any fishing stuff and they have very poor selection. Real shame but once bass pro opened stores here, Dicks started pulling all the fishing stuff out of all the stores, only one left and its fishing section stinks.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

The offers online are the same as in the store. When they did the Z Man sale I dropped my usual huge evo chatter bait order online to make sure I got the colors I wanted in the right quantity.

Looks like there’s a bit of an “oops” sale at FishUSA currently. the new 2026 zodias is listed for $259-$279 msrp but is listed for $219-$229, so about 15% off. They charge a $5 surcharge for a rod shipment though + sales tax.

Right the problem is online if you purchase items for different prices they credit you the lower price item. Its not an issue if all of the items are the same price. Doesnt work that way in the store, each item once you reach 3 will ring up 50% off, doesnt work that way online.

I just wanted to make sure folks were aware of the difference since it is different.

that’s the way it works for me in the store. The three most expensive ones are what I pay for.

If I buy three jackhammers and three originals then I get the originals for free.

That’s why you buy 6 jackhammers or 6 tungsten elites)

I could gave swore it worked differently but I guess Inalways bought the same price items. At least in the store you could purchase them separately to get things to

work out. Honestly i wish the local store carried everything at some point I think they are just going to stop having any fishing stuff....

Afraid I missed a good Ollies run….found some new stock out our local Ollies, and found one single lucky craft lure. I’ve been battling with this older fella, and I think he just left the single lucky craft as his “calling card.” I’ll get you next time, old timer.

Supposedly there was some Keitech, Lucky Craft and I’m sure a bit more.

So.... Your Ollies displays their tackle???

Mine has 5-10 cardboard boxes with absolutely no decreeable organization whatsoever. It honestly feels like they dumped everything fishing or fishing adjacent into a cement mixer, and then blindly shoveled the mixture into overflowing cardboard boxes, which were then thrown in the general direction of some shelving units.

I had never been in an Ollie's until I read on this forum that folks find decent tackle deals there. It's been my experience that I have a better chance at pulling tetanus out of one of those boxes, than a bait I would want at a bargain price. And yet.... I still look through them when I have time to stop.

Yeah ollies is hit or miss for me, even when they have stuff I want to buy the prices are not always that great. Don't get me wrong I have bought some stuff lately just would buy more if prices were lower.

This thread is the best/worst thing I’ve found on the internet.

But we are saving money.....just keep saying that to yourself. Oh and there is another thread that serves as therapy and support if needed, the baitmonkey support group ;)

Ha! Jokes on the bait monkey...I already bought some of these during their last sale.

Digitaka "Super Spring Sale" starts at 5:00AM EDT tomorrow.

Not sure what is typically included, but we're back to near ATH for USD/JPY.

Do you guys discuss good excuses to give the spouse when the CC bill shows up? If turning dollars into squarebills was a sport, I'd be having an MVP worthy month.

The Tatula SV TWS went like hot cakes selling at $150 a piece. Sold out after an hour and a half.

Couldn't pass up a 2500 size Certate for $290. The Twinpower for around $240 is tempting as well, fighting the monkey on that one.

Well I wish I took my own advice and got up at 5AM because nearly everything is picked clean!

I weighed my desire to save some $$ vs actually getting sleep, I chose sleep.

Luckily the only thing I would have bit on, the Twin SW looks to have sold out nearly instantly so I didn't miss much.

New DSG B3G3 is Yum and Zoom

Rather beg for forgiveness than ask for permission 😉

Fish Field has discount codes on the front page of their site for 15% off orders over $150 and 20% off orders over $250. The code worked for me on full price Daiwa reels. Already discounted items are excluded.

MAP pricing is not affected by this sale. Some big ticket items can be had for 20% off.

I'd have a cool order to show but Digitaka's shipment required a signature and now I have a door tag saying they missed me.

Supposed to say when they will try to deliver again and/or a location where I can pick up myself.

However NOTHING is marked on this thing. The guy left it blank. So I'm left here with zero info.

UGH.

Is the signature required part a new thing from Digitaka? I've ordered a few reels in the past and didn't need to sign for delivery, but I recently ordered a new reel and had to sign for it.
