For the price that Sierra is selling them for they are an unbelievably good value. They are awesome rods, and they have the best cork handles I’ve seen on any rod.

Sportsman’s Warehouse has $20 off if you spend $100. They have some discounts on fishing items too. I placed an order with them recently and was happy with their fast delivery. 

Sportsman's Outfitters said that they will be having a July 4th sale.

yeah but like i said some places that have exclusions but still give the sale price but cannot advertise.

 

and i contacted them and if you call or message them about a product they will give you the discount.  too bad they dont have any  new zillions in stock.

TW's sales have been few and far between this year...doubt they'll have a 4th sale

We stopped at 3 of them on the way home from Florida and all had the sale. Call your Gander Outdoors and inquire. We were told they have warehouses jammed full of stuff from all the store closings. GY Senkos at $3.50 a pack, War Eagle spinnerbaits at $3.64, etc., etc..

I don't know other than what one buddy likes about his and what I've read on this site, but I now have the 7'2 H/F on the way.  $199 seems like a hell of a deal.

Stopped by local DSG and they had tons of clearance tackle buy 5 get 5 free.  I picked several packs of Trokar hooks, some misc terminal tackle and some packs of soft plastic (senkos, zoom lizards, and zoom finesse worms).  All told, I payed $33.  I added up what I got based on Tackle Warehouse's prices and it was over $120 worth of stuff.  I think I'm good for the rest of the year and next year on a lot of stuff.

My local DSG liquidated their whole fishing department. Not a huge loss, it never was really well stocked anyway.

Most of the ones in Indy are pretty sparse.  I just got lucky on a few essentials.   The one closest to me is 5 minutes from a large reservoir and they do get business but most of the customers that go in there leave scratching their heads.  You would think DSG would see the trend in tackle and do something.  

 

Anyway, they are more expensive than any online store and their selection is 50% Googan Squad, 25% Ned Rig and the rest is just weird odds and ends but they do get a few good things from time to time.

So the 7' never shipped but I do have a 7'2" on the way.  Sierra told me they either didn't have the stock or something happened in the warehouse before the 7' rod went out so they credited me.

Bummer.  The 7' would've been a better match for my needs too.  This 7'2" will probably end up pushing me to sell something to find a versatile Trig/light jig rod that can do moving baits ok.

Has anyone seen a coupon floating around for Siebert's Outdoors?  Thinking of stocking up on some jigs.  I have yet to find an equal to these guys.
