Not happy with Omnia. Payed for my premium membership to get my 20 percent off and the 10 percent back in store credit.  Use my code at checkout and it works. It also tells me how much store credit I will receive for my order. Today I contact omnia about my credit and they tell me that I won't receive store credit if using that discount code. I asked where this was stated on their site. I was told they are working on adding it to the site.  Kinda BS so just a heads up.

I've really enjoyed buying from them.  Love that they are close to me.  I've also had great customer service when contacting them.

I'm not a premium member so I can't comment on what @OG Crankster experienced.

This place has probably received about 75% of my tackle-purchasing business over the course of the past 8 months.  They will have random discount sales on things like yamamoto and zman that I try to take advantage of.

The big selling point is that they're close to me, a whole lot closer than even you are @Hawkeye21.  They're about 3 miles from my house lol.  So I can just swing in and do store pick up.  No delays or shipping fees!

I also know the marketing director there from a previous job.  I was in there earlier this week and Seth Feider was in da house doing a lure review.

I could visit the parents then pick up an order there...parent's place is just off Douglas a bit north of Bassett Creek.

Do you know if their 10% off works for Megabass or St. Croix?

I placed my first order with Monsterbass  on 11/24, and still haven't received it.  They use UPS Mail Innovation to ship their orders.  My shipment first got lost by UPS, and I got a replied email from UPS to confirm that.  But Montsterbass insisted the shipment was not lost but just delayed. I waited for a couple more weeks, and threatened to solve the matter through Paypal. Finally they sent out a replacement shipment, and gave me a new tracking number. This replacement shipment seemed to pass through UPS just fine, but get lost by USPS this time. The shipment status has stayed the same since 1/4.  I am not sure how Monsterbass will handle this case, but we'll see.

That’s was a smoking deal TW had. I finally got another Fury. I was extremely happy with the one I got last year. Now I wait another 4 months for the ice to go away.

Same, I think I've collected all of the Fury series at this point and then some, plus a few in the other series.  I still think its the best value and when they are on sales its a no-brainer.  The only issues I've ever had with them was when I forgot to feed my rod locker breakfast and it chomped on a 703SF to get back at me.

Are these a quality brand? Never heard of them.

I got my order today - ill check on them in a few hours. But keep in mind, at $1.50 a bag, they can't be worse than the bucket of worms type stuff you used to get a tackle shops.

I agree, but sometimes cheap doesn’t mean trash. If they are solid baits I might add a few and see how they perform.

Cool. I’m glad you got your order. I placed an order with Baitwrx the same day and just got that package yesterday. I got a tracking number from tacklehd but it says it cannot be found. I’ll give it the week but first thing Monday I’ll be calling lol

I think you'll love it. I have a Supreme (the XT is a step up) and it's a great reel. If I had the money, I'd grab a couple of those XT's.

Just grabbed the last one my local BPS had.

Just picked up a ton of Bobby Garland Baby Shad and Johnson Beetlespins from Cabelas, $1.89/18 for the baby shad and $0.99 per beetlespin

Scrolling through the Academy clearance sale.  Anyone know how long this lasts?

If anyone has any insight on their in-house brand stuff worth trying (including clothing) please give me a heads up!

Academy's online deals kind of suck in the last couple of years. Back in the days, I had scored a Lew's BB1 reel for $60, some Columbia fishing shirts for $4 a piece, and a tons of other quality tackles in dirty cheap prices.  Now they have one clearance after another, but mostly for sports clothing and sorts, not many solid tackle deals. I heard their stores down south still have some great deals occasionally.

I did find a pretty smoking deaI if anyone is still looking for a Fred Roumbanis rod. 7'3 heavy for $127 plus $20 shipping. I just bought an XP in the same specs or I would have snatched this up.

I have quite a few of their Magellan fishing shirts and hunting camo...always served me well, FWIW.

I have to agree. The clearances at Academy have not been the same the past few years, very lackluster. Not many real deals and the selections have been underwhelming. Also, it seems that Academy is not restocking some of their best H2O Xpress lures and the ones they are restocking are not up to the same standard in terms of finish and overall quality. They haven't restocked many of my favorites and their entire saltwater lure line is practically gone. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come but just a result of this crazy pandemic and supply chain issues.
