Agreed. Picked up a spinning combo in ML on sale a few years back: excellent rod and reel!

Maybe - but my favorite rod place got me 20% now...ordered this morn, FedEx already has it in hand...estimate Tuesday delivery.

Yeah it's definitely not taking 20% off mine either. It's doing 15%. Real sneaky, TW. 

I submitted my order even with that 15% error. I'm sure they'll correct it for the final receipt to match the discounts, but if they don't get that quirk fixed soon I'd hate to be the one answering phones when they open in the morning.

I don't see any "extra 10%" on the specified brands, either. Oof.

You're right - thanks. In the past they've shown the discounted price (in red) side-by-side with the regular price (crossed out). The first thing I did when the sale was live was to scroll through my wish list and see if anything had been discounted additionally because I was looking for that red text.

Came here to brag about being 5 hours ahead of anyone on the east coast but I guess I wasn't the only one making my order just now ?

 

I had to activate the coupon thingy from the url on the email I got but otherwise everything worked well.

At least I got a Simms jacket that had been discounted all week with the extra 20% off, plus a bunch of stuff for winter fishing.

Yep - 15% here too...across the board except the one rod which is only 10% off.

 

And it does show the 20% discount tag in the cart...

I did after contacting them. I got a message saying my ordered shipped and on the very same day a big item dropped to half price, I contacted them and they corrected it right away and I got a refund about two days later (not bad considering I'm not in the US)

TW corrected the issue. 

MegaBass apparently doesn't believe in sales.   Yet to find a place that lets you use their BF stuff with them.    Local store had them cheap though, likely just blowing out inventory in this economy.  

 

I'm okay with this, better than buying stuff from these companies and then seeing them 25-50% off several times a year.       It's like the Kistler, and Alpha Angler model.

 

Haven't seen Loomis either.

A few years ago the Kittery Trading Post had Megabass products included in a sale.  I stocked up on a few vision jerk baits.

 

You're right though, quite often that brand name is excluded.
