Was at fleetfarm today to buy some gulp minnows and i checked out the rod section and found 1 rod that had a big CLEARANCE SALE sticker $15.00 on it, Regular $29.99.

It was all alone, the only one on the rack. So i bought it, the berkley cherrywood 7 ft meduim spinning and i will use it as a walleye rod which means i will catch everything that swims.

When i was checking it out compared to some other 7 ft mediums it has a alot of parabolic bend in it 2/3 of the way down from the tip, more so than the other rods i compared it to. Now the cherrywood is a composite/hybrid extremely light in weight while the other rods compared were graphite. Anyway i bought it and it gives me something new to play around with.

Did take advantage of the Holiday to pick up some more of the McCoy Mean Green co-polymer. For what crankbait fishing I do with spinning reel this is my choice line. Tough line to find in the super bulk spools. 
 

I like Big Game for casting reels but don’t like the performance on spinning gear using crankbaits. 
 

Looking forward to upcoming Thanksgiving Holiday sale.

I have a tatula but i prefer the shimano it just feels better and smoother
