I'm not really the guy to ask about swimbaits because I never have any luck with them. I force myself to throw one every so often hoping that changes but so far it hasn't.

Do you throw swim jigs? They make great trailers.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Got a kick out of these huge markdowns.

I try, but never had much luck with them either. I think I've got one rigged up with a Rage Menace and another with a curly tail grub. I'll give a swimbait a try.

The X colors section...I wish they had that bone color Kick Back Shad in stock. Surprised more companies don't run that color in soft swimbaits.

Ha, I saw that too and thought the same.

I see lots of things in the Color X list that look interesting but they must sell out within minutes of posting because almost nothing is ever available by the time I get there.

They used to have a Smoke Shad color (light-ish gray on top, translucent white-ish on bottom) that was a killer for me in a 4.75" rattlesnake but I guess they discontinued it because it's no longer listed. Sadly I've only got a couple left in the bag. It's a fairly common color so I don't know why it's not offered as a staple.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing, in fact I had loaded up the cart last week during the 40% sale and didn't pull the trigger because of that $12 shipping charge. Now that they've bumped the discount to 50% I'm reconsidering, but that does seem high for shipping.

You weren't seeing things - the "free shipping" minimum seems to be a moving target. Sometimes it's $79, sometimes it's $59, sometimes it's $100, and they don't always list what it is - you have to load the cart and go to checkout to see for sure. It seems to be $100 right now, which means you have to buy $200 worth of baits to qualify. That's a lot of worms for somebody who's already got more worms than he'll probably use in a lifetime.

Thanks!  I planned on spending a bill anyway.  Rattlesnakes and airtails get crushed!

I like the Rage Menace as well. Especially rigged vertically. But a good paddle tail will give the swim jig a slight back and forth roll as you're retrieving it. Sometimes that's the ticket.

Well I broke down and placed an order. Curious to see how the paddle tails compare to other brands. Also decided on getting a few wild colors. Thanks for the heads-up on the sale.

This year they're only doing 12 days of Christmas, but supposedly they'll be offering more stuff during each day.

That works. I caught something in the email preview but not in the email itself. For me I have one or two items in mind that hopefully I will recieve enough gifts to cover. Otherwise I will wait to the spring. Truck repairs and other gifts slowed down my ability to talk the wife into order a couple of fishing rods for christmas/promotion gift to me lol.

6th sense has some random baits severely marked down.  Worth looking around even with the shipping costs…

Couldn’t pass them up. $1.99 a bag and even picked up a few Joy Sticks. They look like they have a somewhat flatter body and might make excellent trailers.

The 7’ m/f casting is a real gem from the avid x series, I’d buy a back up right now if I wasn’t in the middle of a move, asteal at $135

Don’t see this anywhere.

Myself and a friend just had our TW 'wish list' deleted, gone from thin air. Funny thing was 2 of my newer wish lists remain, but I had an older larger one that had all my go tos. And it's just gone. Anyone else experience the same thing?

yep! same! Not sure what happened. Annoying since I just went through and selected quite a few for family to select from...since apparently us fisherman are "impossible to buy for" ha

All right, all right I'll do it.

Dang it, I already have more worms than I'll ever use. But how do you pass up this deal?

Thanks, but my inventory of 6th Sense crankbaits is at the point, I should be the one having the Black Friday sale, but I did promise the Bait Monkey I would take at least take a look, after all I did loose a couple last weekend.

Pure Fishing (Abu, Berkley, Fenwick, Pflueger, ect) has a 50% off code that works on ALL items. I don't know when it expires or gets patched. Free shipping as well.
